This is not a place to eat pBiryani, especially if you had Biryani before. Butter chicken is a joke here, with big pieces, and the chicken has skin on it ?. Food is expensive and reply I got after I was honest was another lol. It’s jus my experience.
First I want to say I’m proud of who I am. This was the worst restaurant I’ve ever been too. All the rice was extremely dry…. Nothing we had was freshly cook. It tasted like it was yesterday food. I had a party of 6, each entree was $20 to $29 and the appetizer we spent close to $90. I felt heartbroken to know how badly my party was severed day old food. At NO time our food was hot and fresh. I hope the owner see this comment and I also I want a FULL REFUND. plus we left a nice tip. Please reply to this message. Thank you very much.,
Always wonderful service and SUCH delicious food (and drinks). Definitely one of our favorite restaurants in DC.
This was my first time dining here. The food was cold and seemed old. It was as if they didnât care for our business with them. The only dish that was good was the fried cauliflower. I would not recommend this place.

I had ordered Chana masala tonight, it had no salt and spice nobody had ate it totally tasteless, I had told them specifically I need medium spicy but it had no spice no masala, it was looking like they just boiled it put little masala gave to customer. Not recommend at all.
Masala Art DC is a hidden gem. We had never been there before and popped in on a Friday night. The food was absolutely delicious (some of the best Indian food we have ever eaten - the butter nan is to die for). Staff were very nice as well. We will definitely be going back.

Masala Art is one of our favorite restaurants. The food is always delicious. And the owner and his staff are very welcoming.
My wife and I had a lovely meal at Masala Art. The food was delicious and we appreciated the personal attention of the owner. The restaurant was doing a bustling take out business but spacious dining room was virtually empty of diners, which made us feel comfortable and safe. We will return soon.
