I enjoyed the food as I always do at Lebanese Taverna. However, my friend was told her dish would take 20 minutes. She ordered a lamb schwarma. When twenty minutes came, the waiter came back and said it would take longer. She changed her mind an ordered a shrimp dish with a Greek liqueur. She didn't tell me whether or not she liked it. I ordered a lamb with artichoke and rice casserole. The ambience was great, since we were able to eat outdoors.
This used to be our fave place to dine when we lived in DC. Back visiting and wanted to go back with our daughter. Service and food is still incredible!
Great find near our hotel. Great service and food
The waitstaff was very attentive, congenial, and helpful.
Itâs been years since weâve been to Lebanese Taverna, so we finally got a chance to go last night. I will say, it was disappointing! Our server (no clue of his name) was awful! We waited 10-15 mins before he came over to us. When he did, he never asked us if we wanted drinks. He just took our order. We ordered appetizers and dinner at the same time. Appetizers were brought to us by âsomeoneâ. We had to ask for the garlic sauce that was to come with the fries. Our server never checked on us. He came one time to fill our water, again never asking if we wanted something other than water to drink. Food came, delivered by someone other than our server. It all came out correct. Again, had to flag someone down to get a regular spoon as the lentils were ordered as a dinner item and served with a large serving spoon. Food was good, though not very flavorful. Server never stopped by other than to bring our check. And even then, he lacked customer service. Overall, we will not be coming back again. For now we will enjoy Leb Tav in Annapolis!
Wonderful anniversary dinner! Our server and Muhammed who was our server for a recent company dinner both provided excellent service and even celebrated us with champagne and desserts. The food, ambiance, service are all wonderful - we will be back again and hopefully soon!!
Such a nice atmosphere! The servers were attentive. Samosas were outstanding!
My husband and I were celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary and the Lebanese Taverna in Woodley Park is where we had our first date 27 years ago! Every member of the staff wished us a happy anniversary and made our dinner a very special occasion. We canât thank the restaurant enough for the gracious service we received.
Was ok, not as good as in times past. Service was slow and two lamb dishes disappointing.
When I lived in dc over 20 years ago this was a go to place for me I am happy to say it is still serves great tasting Lebanese food!
