Great place! Easy to order, big selection, and plenty of seating inside and out. Best croissant in DC? I will say it is the only croissant in DC but it was absolutely fantastic and I would be willing to believe it's the best. I would happily go back the next time I am in the area.

I love their feshly bakes desserts and treats! Great breakfast items and sandwiches especially their Salmon on Croissant. Friendly staff!

My breakfast croissant was buttery, flaky, and delicious. This has to be the best place in DC for a croissant, just like the sign says (it's what lured me in....). Iced latte could have used more coffee and a lot less milk, but that's my only issue. I'm already planning my next visit....

Not sure why the reviews are so high. Just ate part of a croissant that tasted more like a hardened bread. Likely a combination of being poorly baked then left out to congeal and dry out. Not worth the calories and money. I threw it away.

Love this cafe, it's become my favorite place to get pastries, coffee, and breakfast wraps/sandwiches in the neighborhood. The staff is wonderful and always courteous. There is a patio in the front where you can eat safely distanced and enjoy the 14th St activity. This place has too much charm and character to skip. I've always had wonderful treats and meals here and can't recommend it more.

This is a nice neighborhood cafe for a morning sip and bite. I've been twice thus far, with the first time being busier than the second (today's drizzle likely played a part in this). The chai latte and gruyere & prosciutto sandwich were both very good, while the moon cookie and lavender grandmere were underwhelming (both tasted a bit stale). At ~$53 for two sandwiches, two cookies, a croissant, and two lattes, this cafe is decidedly middle of the road in terms of both cost and value.

I have been a frequent customer at this bakery over the past two years. I can’t speak to the desserts, but I’ve had everything on the breakfast menu. Their breakfast sandwiches are sub-par, largely flavorless ingredients, no salt. Almost always a disappointment, but hey, there’s not really anything else around here when you want breakfast on the go.Firstly, the variety of baked goods is impressive. Their lunch sandwiches are hit or miss, I’ve tossed at least one in the can. That’s a problem, given how expensive the sandwiches are. The coffee is just fine, certainly not bad and does the job, but perhaps a bit overpriced for its quality. The croissants, however, hit it out of the park! They’re really as good as people say.Ultimately, I’m grateful to have this place in the neighborhood, disappointing as it can be. It’s a quiet place to work and has nice atmosphere. If the owners put a new effort in, this place could fulfill its high potential.

I enjoyed the pain au chocolat but the latte I ordered was pretty weak and flavorless, definitely not worth the $5 price. I would come back again to try other pastries but skip the coffee.

Not so french but not so bad. Pastries were hit or miss. Pain au chocolat was good, but flavored cookies were bland, no flavor at all. Chairs and tables were dirty with food crumbs everywhere. Staff was nice and friendly.

The multigrain bread is like wonder bread with added seeds, no substance. The pastries are OK, nothing special. Perhaps they could specialize and be better at either one.
