A good venue for a large party. The drinks are good, and the waiters are very kind. However, the bathrooms are extremely disgusting. They need a thorough cleaning and remodeling.

Great service and food one of the best in the area

Lauriol Plaza is a classic/ authentic DC Mexican restaurant. We’ve been coming here for years. Very lively and upbeat establishment great for celebratory, happy hour and date night. Offers tons of indoor and outdoor seating, friendly waitstaff, great food and fast service. Theres a adjoining parking lot - which costs $5 . Complementary chips and salsa, we ordered the rockfish with added shrimp and plantains. Along with a frozen swirl margarita pitcher, strong delicious drinks. Recommend making reservations this restaurant gets busy. Overall I would recommend this place.

I'm so happy to be working with Chief Lucky. I was diagnosed with Herpes a couple of years ago and my doctor was less than helpful. Chief Lucky has provided invaluable recommendations for herbal treatment! I've recently started using the herbal treatment and I've noticed change. When i was done with the herbal treatment i go for test, I found out I am negative. I would highly recommend reaching out to Chief Lucky… Email [email protected] Http://facebook.com/chiefdrlucky Https://chiefdrlucky.com WhatsApp +2348132777335

Great neighborhood find. Excellent food (and sangria!) And extensive menu. Attentive service. Wish they had tostadas in addition to salads.

There was no wait on a warm Saturday afternoon. Which should have been the first red flag. We sat down and it took a while for a waitress or waiter to come and ask if we wanted any additional drinks or appetizers. We had the guacamole & calamari to start. The guacamole had to have salt & pepper added. The calamari was over cooked. It tasted more like plastic than chewy rubber. It was not seasoned well either. For my entree I ordered the shrimp quesadilla which I sent back. The shrimp were micro and did not looked seasoned. They were not even in the quesadilla properly. I also had the short rib tacos. I really liked them. I was disappointed that there was very little meat. Lauriol plaza has fallen off tremendously. I will never return. It used to be one of my favorite restaurants in DC. So sad to see them fall off like this.

Food was delicious! Service is good. The weather was good, so we sat outside and outdoor seating was great. Get the Tres Leches! It was so delicious I forgot to take a picture

Had reservations and we weren’t disappointed with this place. Good service and good quality everything. Great location not to far from downtown.

The hostesses were great. Server was nice but we had to keep looking for him. Food was decent enough. The lamb is served on a skillet but my rice and tortillas came out to ne cold. I'd return for the frozen margaritas and chips&salsa though.

I’ve been coming here for years. My favorites are the Masitas de Puerco and anything with salmon. My boys get the Tiajuana (fajitas with shrimp and beef or chicken). The chips are thin and crispy and the salsa is so good. The salsa has a thin consistency so make sure nothing is between the bowl and your mouth because you WILL drip. The place is huge. It has 2 main levels, and outdoor eating area and 2 bars, one on the rooftop.I don’t go full 5 stars because the service is never friendly. Ever. But, know that you will get water refills, all the chips you need, your food will come out fast and it’s consistently great food. It’s attentive but not friendly. I can live with that.
