Cute little coffee shop in Blagden Alley. I frequent La Colombe often, this was my first one in DC. Location is GREAT, with the wall art. On a warm summer day, you can take your coffee to go and explore the many arts in the alley. The only complaint I have is that the menu is very limited, and they have only pastries (I attribute this to the fact that there’s 2 other coffee shops in the alley, that’s probably why. But it would be nice to see them add bagels or other small bites to the menu). Something else as well (and mentioned by a few others) is that there’s No WiFi, so if you’re looking to get coffee and catch up on work, this is not the best place. Staff was nice!

Great selection of single source coffees - it's unclear if they come from a single farm or just a single region. Super friendly staff, and they have oat milk chai on tap.

You can't beat the charming location of this coffee shop. I've been working nearby at the convention center and various area hotels for a while but I didn't know about this hidden gem called "Blagden Alley." With its colorful murals and wide cobblestone streets, it's such a gift to DC. It's like if Old Town Alexandria had an artsier vibe.Anyway, back to La Colombe. I had a cappuccino here and found it to have a light, frothy texture and a robust flavor. After being outside in what felt like 20 degree weather, this was a much needed respite.

I love this space! I ?this coffee company. I have my places in DC and NYC that I do frequent. I just am wishing and saying a little prayer... that La Colombe would look at National Harbor when they are needing their next spot!

It's like a secret gift to the area. Danny the hostess was knowledgeable and knows her coffee! The pour-overs here are great and they feature various types of both espresso and drip coffees from dark to light!

By far the best coffee in DC! I have tried several coffee places around Washington but I would rate this as the best of them all...staff are very friendly and welcoming. The place is cozy and in a quiet area behind Marriott courtyard..tried the biscotti and cannele from their bakeries and they weren't as good as expected.. restrooms are clean and tidy.. I would definitely visit again.

Great location with friendly staff. Great selection of pastries as well. Inside seating is a little limited because of the pandemic. Great place to do some reading or get some work done.

I came here twice in one weekend because their draft cold brews were absolutely amazing! I have never had something so smooth and creamy. I just wish I lived in DC to continue enjoying their coffee.

Great atmopshere. Try the draft latte. It's life changing.

Ordered a Draft Oat Milk Latte and received a cup that was 80% foam, 20% liquid. I got about 4 slurps out of that one. The cup was noticeably light and I should have had it exchanged; but never should have been served that to begin with. Other items were good though. Great spot in an art alley.
