The food was so delicious. The best lamb my wife and I have ever had. The veal was also extremely good. Our server was attentive. The only reason I gave 4 stars for price was because the Kingbird is a higher end restaurant, so the price was as expected. We highly recommend it for a nice night out.

The appetizers and drinks were outstanding! We had a charcuterie and cheese board and the deviled eggs. The guys had the fish and chips and duck and they said very good. My daughter had the wedge with crab and she was disappointed and I had veal Oscar and was disappointed in the veal which was breaded ☹️ and not great tasting but the crab, bernaise sauce and asparagus were good.

I had a great experience with the afternoon tea! The ambiance was amazing and the variety of tea and treats were yummy. All the staff were sweet and the service was great. It was a nice and classic experience.

We enjoyed an exquisite pre-theater meal here before attending a show at The Kennedy Center. Our food was excellent and cooked to order. Diners in our party loved their French onion soup, crab and avocado salad, smoked salmon, fish and chips, and mouthwatering cheeseburger. Glasses of wine were competitively priced and served with some flair at tableside. As we dined early (starting at 5:30 PM), we were offered a primo table overlooking the Potomac River, and our dinner conversation was uncluttered by any competing noise. Staff was attentive and immediately responsive to our needs. Being introduced to a restaurant "back door" that led directly to a footpath around the adjacent Watergate residences and right to the steps of The Kennedy Center, was icing on the cake! This impeccably well-designed restaurant features wonderful ambience and lovely furnishings. It seems to get better with every visit. Highly recommended for pre-show dinners or for any other special occasion. An affordable menu also makes it perfect for light dining or a routine dinner out. As you can tell, we are big fans.

Service from our waiter Omar, was very good. Drinks were good, food was good, price is too high. Great location for a visit to the Kennedy Center.

Good variety of food offered, and the food was good. The drinks were very expensive.

Food was impressive in presentation and flavor but extremely overpriced. Service was attentive but very slow. Floor under the table was sticky and disgusting. Booth was uncomfortable.

Delicious food and kind service! Loved our drinks and every bite was delicious and unique. Definitely recommend the baked Alaska for dessert. Also beautiful spots to take photos! Recommend for sure for a nice but not too crazy expensive meal.

The best Veal Oscar I’ve ever had👍🏻

Magnificent meal and setting.
