Live close by. Sushi Bowls are always delicious and always taste fresh. This is a gem in the area, and a very affordable option considering DC as a whole (particularly as we are talking about raw fish). Cannot recommend higher.
Overall the place is good for a cheap Japanese restaurant, the poke bowls have too much sauce
The poke is awesome it's my favorite place to get lunch from! The ingredients are fresh, the food is delicious, the prices are amazing, and it's convenient being able to get dessert at the same place.
Would be helpful if they were open when their hours say they are. Put in an order, showed up, and no one was there. Will happily change this review to a better one if I'm ever able to try their food.
I absolutely love this place. I frequent it probably too often! The sushi is SO fresh, the poke bowls are SOOO good and the staff is very friendly. Writing this review makes me want to order for dinner I already am craving it again! The prices are very reasonable and it’s so close. Highly recommended!

Low-key the best gelato flavor in DC is the purple sweet potato/ube flavor here at Khin's Sushi (formerly Altani Gelato) - it really tastes like the real thing and is worth every penny. They call the purple sweet potato flavor "Miss Purple" - not sure why, since it makes it unclear as to what it is, but don't overlook it because of the name.Service was friendly and fast, though the plastic barriers cover literally every inch of the space between the employees and customers, so it's extremely difficult to understand each other. Nonetheless, I hope this place remains a neighborhood staple!
