Probably the best ramen restaurant I've been too and I've had my fair share of ramen. First off the music is such a vibe it's foreign but it just fits so well. It was pretty packed when we went (understandable) but the staff was so nice and accommodating. They do have a bar menu but if you want your drinks you should go downstairs to their speak easy which was so cute! You definatly don't have to but it is a sight to see. I highly recommend the Voodoo drink which was also recommended to me by our waiter. Definaly stir it tough otherwise it's going to taste a little strong. You can't tell but the 3rd picture are the gyozas it's Crispy on top and then the dumplings are attached on the bottom. Brilliant! I loved the crunch with the dumplings it gave it nice texture! The food was great, staff was friendly and the vibes were good. I highly recommend going!
Great ramen and atmosphere. Everything was cooked to a T we loved the flavor we got the fried rice gyoza and chicken wings. The chicken wings were cut into 4th or maybe halves i can remember but either way not worth the price but the taste was great so I guess it’s a hit and a miss. The fried rice was delicious and ramen 10/10.They also have a fyeeeeeeee speak easy at the bottom
I wish there were more than 5 stars that I could give this place!! Omg. Quality of the food, amazing. Drinks, awesome. Customer service? Bar none. We walked in close to their afternoon closing and they were extraordinarily accommodating, gracious, and so attentive. Maybe the best customer service I have ever received. I stumbled into here on accident and it’s now at the top of the list for places I will bring my friends. Absolutely check it out if you have the chance!!
Decent. Great atmosphere. Attentive servers. $65 waygu ramen was interesting but in a good way. Love the art in the bathroom and speakeasy in the basement. Def worth checking out.
Excellent waitstaff! They were so attentive and answered my questions about the menu. I had the gyoza and spicy chicken ramen. Delicious! Would absolutely go back.
Had our 4th visit and it's been nothing but amazing, including their soft opening at the beginning of the year. I cannot say anything bad about the different ramen and appetizers I've tried, with now their Black Miso Cheese Ramen being one of my favorites. What I appreciate on top of this is the friendly staff who genuinely are all about making sure you're having a great time.
Had the Spicy Tonkotsu Ramen and it was delicious! Service was excellent! Love the decor and cleanliness of restaurant and bathroom. Great speakeasy downstairs with amazing cocktails. Definitely will go back.
Delicious ramen!! First place I ate when I got to DC, no regrets at all. We tried the gyoza, Kaiju Chicken ramen (creamy broth), Kaiju Tonkatsu ramen (reminded me of Oki ramen), and a Yuzu Ikezo sparkling sake. Highly recommend!!
Add Kaiju to the list of very tasty Ramen bars in DC. Boasting a menu with many broth types and additions, there is something for everyone. They have a nice selection of interesting appetizers as well (try the cheese Mochi), and a small but tasty selection of sake. If you're feeling adventurous, check out the sake bar downstairs. It's hidden... Can you find it!?
Had the monster claw appetizer, Otaru stout, and the spicy tonkotsu ramen. All of it was delicious. I ate so much that my stomach hurt. I couldn’t stop myself because it was so delicious. The staff was friendly and their chef is amazing. Highly recommend!
