I don't usually give 5 star reviews. Really great experience here! I ordered one large take out once. I would instantaneously order again! Each dish was authentic (I lived in China for 5 years and was fortunate enough to sample restaurants across the country).
Nice flavor, tasty rice added and tea included in the lunch offer . Not really spicy, even if you ask for, but nice taste and location. Worth it

Tried Joy Luck House for the first time tonight, its very good. Had a red bean moon cake, general tso chicken, beef chow fun, spring rolls, vegetable fried rice, and egg drop soup. Everything was delicious and fresh. Fast service too. Fair prices and good portions. We'll definitely go back.
Worst orange chicken I have ever tasted. The chicken had a sesame flavor versus orange and there was a lot of fat. I did not finish the meal.
Very delicious!! We ordered the egg tart, sesame ball, and tried a moon cake. All were so fresh and good!! We will order all again and you cannot go wrong with the bakery items. Our favorite was the sesame ball with red bean. It was the best we ever had. Usually we go to Falls Church for these bakery food items but not anymore. We did not get a chance to try dinner but we will next time.
It's not joy at all, the sesame ball is the only best thing between our orders. The congee was too liquid, and the worst part was i saw the guest before us was being served by ceramic bowl when they order the same congee, but we got small plastic bowls like serving to go. Very disappointed and not recommended at all.
great fast service and nice workers! food was great too
I went on 10/21/21 for dinner. It's small but had a steady stream of customers and Door Dash. Me and my mother had shumai, soup dumplings, steamed pork bun, oxtail noodle soup, sesame balls and watermelon bubble tea. I was a little hesitant to eat there because of the reviews and rating but would definitely come back here again. The skin on the shumai was delicate but full of meat. I expected a little more soup in the soup dumplings but I also didn't get burned from the broth, the pork buns were excellent with more meat than I get from most places and ordered some to go and the oxtail noodle soup was AMAZING. Very tender and flavorful. I also ordered that to go. We still lust for it, especially as it gets colder. I'll take pics on my next outing there.
