Ambiance was bistro-like, food is truly outstanding. Very authentic gazpacho, tapas were super, everything fresh and beautifully prepared. Cocktails were delish, loved them and the sangria. We came here because another place were wanted to go to nearby was closed, so glad we found Joselitoâs will definitely be back!
We're always on the lookout for something special. We were invited to a wine dinner, courtesy of Schneider's of Capitol Hill. Not a large restaurant, but sizeable enough to host 50-60 guests and intimate enough to make everyone feel at home.This is a Spanish restaurant, and all the wines were from a single vintner. Their US rep was there, as was Terry Brown, Schneider's wine manager. We had a tasting menu. Food was fabulous and the wines provided good accompaniment, especially the reds.Well worth the trip. We'll be back.
Best place for brunch in DC. Hands down. Conveniently located in Eastern Market, so you can shop and walk off your great meal.
The iberico and manchego were great! The tuna crudo was really good. But these are plates you can find everywhere else and usually good. The octopus was chewy, needed flavor and salt. Coffee was served cold, even though it was a cortado. Do not recommend.

Nice night. Several different tapas items shared between us. Tuna crudo is always good As was the gaspacho and duck. Nice, relaxed atmosphere.
Love Joselito's dishes, service, and ambience. Most of the dishes come in three sizes, tapas, entree, family. If you have 2-4 people, highly recommend ordering tapas sizes. This way, you get to taste all the different dishes. Both their cold and hot dishes are delicious. Wagyu beef tastes great. Duck breast is tender and juicy. Thumbs up!
This is my favorite restaurant on Capitol Hill!the atmosphere is always welcoming, the service friendly and personalâ¦.and the food is beyond delicious. I love the choice of sizes-caters every mood and has that âjust made for youâ excellence. the table and cashiers could be a bit more comfortable but the service and food make up and surpass that. Thank YOU!!!!!!!
Excellent experience! The food was outstanding, and the outdoor venue was comfortable and pleasantly quiet on a Sunday afternoon. The prices were fair. I would certainly recommend it.
