The entire experience was outstanding. Our server was incredible. Attentive, warm, and helpful just when we needed him. Every course was prepared as we wanted. Highly recommend for a special occasion or just a wonderful meal.

Perfect service and fine seafood makes for a memorable dining experience

Joe’s was excellent. Wonderful place to start an evening of fine food and fun with friends.

Food was tasty but very very expensive. Overall an enjoyable experience with tasty food. Tuna tartare was outstanding and so was the peach pie.

We had an amazing memorable evening for our last night in Washington. Thank you!

The bone in steaks are amazing. I sat at the bar, and the bartenders were terrific.

Came to DC to visit family and friends, what a treat to find Joes had opened a location on 15th Street. Since I couldn't make it to Vegas or Miami this year was delighted to see one of my favorites restaurants was just around the corner from my hotel. Joes DC did not disappoint. Had to order Stone crabs and Lyonnaise potatoes along with my usual of lump crab cakes. Ohhh, I so needed this delicious meal. Glad to know when I am in DC I can go to Joe's

We’ve dined here before—and at the Chicago location (and the original Joes several times). This time was disappointing. Our sever was distracted, and we heard other tables comment that he had disappeared as well. The server assistant was more attentive and polite. The food was very good to excellent. The shrimp cocktail and lump crab meat salad are very good. Summer corn and potatoes Lyonnaise were delicious! The bone in ribeye was properly cooked and the texture and flavor were good. We’ve had better steak at other Lettuce Entertain You restaurants. We would have stayed for dessert, but our server took so long to return to the table —so we ordered one for carry out. Our reservation is at seven and we didn’t leave the restaurant till after 930. It was just two courses.

Server just always rushed us, felt like we were a nuisance and wasn’t all that attentive.

This was my first time at Joe’s and I was really excited about my experience. The host was super nice and fantastic. The restaurant is beautiful and the food was good. But here is why I gave 3 stars, the service wasn’t up to par for what I know restaurants at this level to be. My server was Victor and it took him about 15-20 minutes to come and take our drink order (which is understandable as the restaurant was busy). However, he skipped on of my friends at the table and never got her order. Another 20 minutes goes by and he comes to take our food order. However, he advised us that we had to place our appetizer and our entree at the same time (which in my head was weird but I assumed this was the way the restaurant operated). Upon taking our dinner order, my two friends were deciding between oysters, yet Victor was positioning himself to leave the table without getting the oyster order. Finally, a friend at the table said are you going to take their order? He finally did. Then, I asked for bread to be refilled (it wasn’t). Another friend asked again later for additional bread and it was finally refilled. I had to ask for another drink (which isn’t a problem) and more water but where is the proactiveness? He brings us the check and we take our time as we are still eating. He constantly came to check on the check more than he checked on us. Finally, he brings the check back and leaves us with no pens to sign the checks!!!!!!! So we had to go to the bar to get a pen. Overall the service wasn’t the standard compared to Mastros, Eddie Vs, etc. I’m not sure if I will return as the experience is what is equally as important as the food.
