The crabs did not looks good so got 1/2 dozen to test them out. One good one, the rest I threw in the garbage. I did not want my pets getting sick. It has gotten too expensive. Better driving to Maryland and getting fresh crabs. $80 - dozen for crap. May as well go to a restaurant

Wanted to try after hearing about the fresh steam seafood served(yes we love seafood) Well besides it being crazy busy, no where to park,a bit overwhelming and smelly?. It was too overwhelming to fight the crowd to order anything other than shrimp, especially since it was my first time, I already had to yell loud enough to take over and get someone to serve me??♀️??♀️?. I got 3/4 pound of medium shrimp with seasoning. Hopefully next time I can enjoy the Wharf and more seafood w/o the threatening of rain clouds and 1 child complaining about the smell?. Walked back to car to eat… it was delicious?
We get the streamed crab here. Crabs are fresh. It takes about 35 -45 minutes for steaming. It depends on how busy they are. The also sell all kinds of seafood such as fish, clam, shrimp etc. The parking is a bit difficult on the weekend.
Wow!!!!! Just Wow! What a selection! I had nowhere to cook anything, so I grabbed a cooked Maine Lobster and zipped back to my hotel on my scooter. Just tore it apart by hand and it was absolutely delicious!!!! Best money spent today!!!
Great service! They are always kind, fast and efficient. I travel from Montgomery County, MD just for thier seafood because it's great quality. Everything is fresh. I will continue to get all of seafood from here.
I go to Jesse Taylor's every year on my birthday which is June 22 to buy my favorite Maryland blue crabs. If though with price increases I bought 2 dozen medium male crabs for $40.00 which is a good deal!
They always give good service and prices are competitive. Thanks Greg for giving me, last Friday, the most tastiest, full crabs we have had in years. I have been dealing with Jessie Taylor for many nyears and highly recommend them. We have never had a problem and Greg always treats us very professionallyand is extremely knowledgeable. I wouldn't buy crabs anywhere else in the DC area.
I telephoned Jessie Taylor Seafood this morning 06/16/22 and I spoke to Dana. She told me that she was the owners wife and she was so nice and polite to me. I called and asked her questions about the prices for their Alaskan king Crab Legs. And she told me about the 2 different sizes Large and Jumbo 5pound box & 10pound box.So I decided too drive over there from Arlington, VA and see what they look like and meet Dana in person.So when my fiancée and I arrived there I asked to speak to Dana. She came out from her back office and I introduced myself as JOANN. Then Dana said I remember speaking to you this morning.I said yes that was me I just wanted to meet the very nice lady that I spoke to on the telephone. And I came to see what size Alaskan king Crab Legs are the biggest and the Best Buy.And what they look like. So Dana said I’ll let him show you them so you can decide it was nice meeting you. So we looked at them and decided to get the Jumbo Alaskan king crab Legs for $215.00 which I think was a very good price. And I’ll be back ! Because of her kindness to me and respect and the price. Thank U ! I’ll Be Back Again !
If I lived anywhere near the wharf in Washington DC, I would definitely come here for all of my seafood shopping. Amazing selection of obviously fresh seafood. Additionally the fishmongers there are delightful and super willing to help you with your selections.
