My monthly brunch bunch admire the philanthropic work of Jose Andres so we decided to splurge and treat ourselves to the full chefâs tasting menu with wine pairings ($200 pp). We thought we would really get a representative sample of the full menu and our server said we would enjoy a paella at the end. Long story short, the wine choices were perfect, no paella, tasty tapas but not enough to make it worthwhile at $200 per person. Try Copas Kitchen instead. We still love Chef/Owner Jose Andres for his work to help those in need.
Our waiter was very professional in providing his recommendations and timing when the dishes were delivered and extra plates were removed. We enjoyed the food as always!
The happening vibe is still there, however, they need extra help, especially in tge bar area. One friendly bartender was holding down the fort trying to keep a ton of impatient customers happy. The food and drinks we ordered were delicious as always, but we did notice the higher prices (inflation?). I would still recommend Jaleo over Spanish Diner in Bethesda time and time again.
Good tapas - went with kids and sat at one of the foosball tables - they had a blast and liked most of the tapas we chose from. Great service

My cousin and I love Jaleo! We had never been to the D.C. location and we went for early dinner before a concert a couple of weeks ago. All of the employees are so nice & helpful and our server knew exactly what my cousin was talking about when she described an item they did not have on the menu but it is our favorite! The chef was able to make it and it totally made our day! We had delicious sangria drinks and just had a lovely afternoon enjoying ourselves. I highly recommend Jaleo!
