Korean Barbeque

By far the BEST Korean BBQ in the DMV! AMAZING choices, delicious sauces and the very best staff! Our server, Dennis, was SUPERB!This will be the ONLY place I eat Korean BBQ in the area. Definitely a destination if you're in town.

Overall, good?I expected this place would Korean style BBQ, but it was not exactly Korean style. Most of the beef/meat they served is seasoned with a sweet flavor? But the staff was kind and care about my table considerably. I sat at the edge of the store, so I needed to take a dust air whenever they moved extra chairs for other customers.-parking: Giant parking lot validated-time limitation: 90 minutes

First Korean barbecue experience - not disappointed. The place follows an all you can eat logic: You pay ~$30 USD and you’re given 90 minutes to eat all you can. Most importantly, the food is actually good: from the protein to the side dishes and the sauces. The cuisine is heightened by the place’s vibe: blue lightning and usually K-pop music videos playing in the background.

This was our first visit to Iron Age. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The 90 minute all-you-can eat format was new to us, but explained very clearly before we were seated. It was more than enough time to full up on brisket, iron age steak, and pork belly. Great bang for your buck, a fun spot to visit with friends or a date.

There’s a 90min time limit which is fine. With 30mins left the served decided to we could only order one more meat. We told him of the 30mins left and told him that that is plenty of time but he didn’t seem to comprehend what myself and a friend were telling him. Brisket, top blade were decent. The bougogi was ok. Asked for Water refill 3x but never got it until I guess the manager came around. After Covid they don’t have potato salad and a few other dishes. Overall disappointing.

great food and service! nice atmosphere! great experience!

First time at a Korean BBQ restaurant and while my friends and I were instantly turned off by the disclosure of the 90 min max + overage fee, we apprehensively proceeded. The waitress was kind and helpful. The beef selections were good and flavorful. I wouldn’t recommend the chicken, it’s takes too long too cook and you don’t want to risk salmonella poisoning. Stay away from the shrimp also! They tell you it comes with the feet and head. My friends had a hard time eating them and said they were mushy. The rice and salad were tasty. The sauces they provided were a great addition. No bartender on staff. They provided shots to accompany any drink you may want to add it to. I guess they don’t want patrons to get wasted. The waitress helped with the cooking and cutting up of the meats and distribution. Once we told her we were done eating, she wasted no time in bringing over the check. The hostess took the cards & ran them. Once we hit the 90 min mark, we got the boot. Overall we had a good time but I probably won’t come back to this location. (Giant parking available and validated)

Our server and waitress for the night, Danielle, was the sweetest and most courteous staff of the night. She made our date night POP! and gave us EXPERT suggestions. We never had an empty drink and loved the food suggestions! We had a wonderful night and would love to come back. Great job and great Korean BBQ!!!

It's a classy Korean BBQ place that serves all kinds of meat, shrimp and squid, with sides of rice, salad, kimchi n sauces. My favorite was the brisket that tasted super delicious when cooked to make it kinda crispy. Also, the garlic flavored meats are good. You can order two kinds of meat at one time per grill. Then you can keep ordering but you can stay for max 90 mins. They also validate your parking if you park on the parking lot above the restaurant. The only problem was that they provide two grills for parties of 7 or more. We were 6 people feeding on one grill so had to eat and then wait for the next one to cook and so on.

I had a great time here! Spectacular food quality for an all you can eat place - $30 dinner! The meat was cut thin enough but not too thin. Any of the pork or beef would be good. Also they were well marinated. The squid wasn’t too fresh. The service was fast and our table was well taken care of by the staff.
