Our first try at Indique was one takeout dish was Saag Makai. When we tasted it at home we thought, these people know how to cook. We came back a couple days later when we weren’t very hungry but needed to eat. We ordered the Seasonal soup, pea-based, and the lobster and shrimp bisque. They were delicious. As was the chicken keesh, a tandoori appetizer special that day. We sat outside on a beautiful night. Since the restaurant is just above the metro, we enjoyed the Cleveland Park neighborhood. Besides the good food, though, the staff was pleasant, helpful and enjoyable to be around. We enjoyed it all so much that we ended up taking home another meal for the day after! We highly recommend Indique.

What a wonderful expirence, the food was outstanding we order a few appetizers, drinks and main dishes we try to choose what was our favorite and it was just too hard to choose everything was absolutely delicious the flavor were delicate not overly condimented. I can't wait to go back and try more dishes, the staff were friendly, attentive our waiter was very nice and helpful with Yue menu.

Great food, authentic! Clean, courteous staff, this is my favorite Indian restaurant in the DC Area. Having been to India several times and London on many occasions (where in my opinion the best Indian cuisine can be found), Indique is top notched!

It had been years since I’ve been here. The food was fantastic! The samosa chaat was delicious, as was the shrimp and lobster bisque. The soup could have benefited from lumps of crab and more shrimp but the flavors were excellent. The fish (cod) curry was cooked to perfection, and the garlic naan was thin and wonderfully made. 9/10 overall.

I have been eyeing this place for a while now. My friend decided to take me for my birthday and everything was delicious. We ordered the lamb shank, chaat papri, saag paneer, lamb vindaloo, garlic naan and mango lassi. All of the meats were fall off the bone. We enjoyed the vindaloo more since the broth was so rich in flavor and cumin. Big tip try to drink the lassi towards the end of the meal as it definitely had a lot of tryptophan and made us sleepy. Flavors here are authentic and prices are reasonable. When we arrived the restaurant was completely packed. If you want great Indian food that won't break the bank this is your spot. I do wish they bring back the Indian brunch.

Wonderful service and wonderful food. The tandoori chicken chop was amazing as well as the garlic naan. Will definitely be back here!

This is a fabulous restaurant and a favorite place for carryout. The service is amazing and we can't wait to come back in person one day!

Its so sad to give this restaurant a 2. The food can be decent, or it can be mediocre…it depends on the day. What is horrible about this place is service. One person gives water, another drinks, another dinner. There is no “one neck to catch” if something goes wrong. Client service=0 , food _3.5. They have not been able to get their customer service right. Customers should have 1 interface.

A truly outstanding gem! All the food is so unique and flavorful!! Their saag paneer, unlike any other saag paneer I've ever tasted, really puts the saag in saag paneer: it's not dense and creamy like saag from other great Indian restaurants, but rather packed with so much spinach, which gives it a smooth, earthy, comfy texture. The cauliflower pecorino kulcha tastes like little slices of pizza, in a good way ? The mint paratha is deliciously flaky with just the right amount of butter, and the house gin & tonic is infused with a subtle variety of spices. Overall amazing vibe, amazing service, and, of course, amazing food! I don't usually eat very much for dinner, but I couldn't help but clear up the plates this time, no regrets. Can't wait to come back and try their other dishes ?
