Very bad customer service takes hours to be seated, takes hours to be served and the food be cold, burnt not good at all

I haven't been to this one in a few years, but nothing has changed. Excellent food and service.

We got here to the ihop on Alabama ave and they seated us put our drink orders in then the system was down they charged me $15 for 3 drinks I won’t be coming back here ever again

BLT can't go wrong with that.

So myself and kids went to the location this morning and the restaurant was empty then another young lady entered and wanted to be seated as while myself and kids was sat then the other young lady was sat, the waiter came out slid silverware on the table then proceeded to ask the host who was sat 1st then went straight to the young lady sat after us and took her order I was thinking wtf so I got up and walked out it bothered me when I was about to pull off so I went back in and spoke to the manager who asked us to come back and she’ll serve us herself I respectfully declined even the 20% off because for me it’s not about the money it’s how you allow people to treat you. We are now at the st barnabas rd location where it’s much better

When it comes to great service and great food. This is the place to be

This ihop is pitiful! It' probity because of the area it's in SE DC , where owner really don't care about service. Only there to appease city officials, so they can say we have retailers in our neborhood!

Food was good. Server tok a while to warm up but by the end, she was more pleasant.

Last Sunday me and my husband came in after church and it took about 3-5 mins to be greeted and sat. When we sat down two other table were sat as well. About 25 mins go by nobody has came up to us or even gave us drinks. As I look around a server seats a three top table beside and immediately greets them and get drinks. When she was done getting drinks I ask if we can get a server please. She continues to walk by annoying us. At that moment we realize nobody was going to help us so we leave. As I walk by the Kitchen door I see multiple employees with no mask And horse playing around. I’m glad we got out there when we did. And went to the one in temple hills where we was greeted and seated, plus eating within 25 mins of being there.

I took someone there for a Birthday ? Breakfast experience. Because the dine in area was closed. There was only one cashier. She managed to multitask. With their credit card machine down and being busy. The wait time was longer. Where I felt inconvenience on the front side. The food was excellent. My omelette was fresh tasting. The eggs aren't filled with a lot of pancake mix to fluff them up. Pancakes were delightful and the butter melted right in there. Scrapple was fried right. Go there with an open mind. You'll be surprised.
