Their food is really great! Better pizza than most places (looking at you &pizza). Everyone is very friendly. Highly recommend this place!
Accidentally stumbled upon this place (because the restaurant we first went to was too busy but we're so glad!!!). Food was excellent, staff is super friendly and they had video games going....what more can you ask for. 10/10 recommend, will definitely be back next time we're in town.
The owners are super friendly. They make sure every customer is comfortable and food and drinks are good. I really love coming here for a after work meal and drink!
Can you eat just the pizza crust without any ranch from here? Yes, the crust has good flavor on its own. Overall the pizza was pretty good and for most people would probably really love it. I'm always in search for a perfect 10 Pizza so that is very difficult to find places that can consistently perform to my expectations yet I am giving a solid four out of five stars as it is in my opinion definitely a 8 out of 10. One thing I would change is eating directly at the restaurant instead of having it delivered and would have requested for the pizza to be cooked slightly longer if tonight's Pizza was cooked within their defined temperature and timings.A Margarita Pizza was ordered from here as it is one of the best tests to determine if a pizzeria uses both quality ingredients as well as proper execution of cooking and presentation.Ingredients: surprisingly I'd say there was a bit too much cheese for the ratio of all the ingredientsExecution of cooking: The tomatoes and sauce did not pool from too much moisture and water, usually from the tomatoes used and preparation of the tomatoes which is good. The pizza although was fully cooked probably could have used a little bit more time in the oven or should have removed the pizza screen slightly earlier to allow direct contact with the cooking service to cook the bottom slightly more.Presentation: the pizza looked very appetizing and the ingredients were equally distributed showing that time and Care was taken well making the pizza.
If ordering for pick up via Google/DoorDash, call to confirm they received your order. My order and another customer had same issue at pickup and they had to retake our orders and then make pizzas. I got the pizzas 50 minutes after the projected pickup time.To no fault of the staff but patrons should be aware.Pizzas and staff = 5 stars
Wonderful fresh food! The pizzas and calzones were fabulous but the surprise was the salads and appetizers. All were full of flavor and generously portioned. Desserts were great as well. Fun, informal ambiance. Would definitely recommend.
Typically we don't complain about pizza, because even semi-bad pizza can be OK. But the $20 pizza we got from HomeSlyce wasn't pizza. It was a burnt piece of dough with a couple of strands of cheese mixed in. And it wasn't even a normal size pizza, definitely smaller than a typically sized pizza. If we weren't staying at a hotel with a lack of food options we would have thrown the pizza in the trash and ordered from elsewhere.
We stopped in for a quick snack with family of 4. We ordered the baked fries which the menu said was $7.99 but when paying the check we were informed that the menu was old and it was actually $8.61. We needed the crust to be gluten free but they wouldn’t make one of their standard pizzas with this crust and said it had to be a build your own. The starting for a 12” pizza was $13.99 plus $3 for the gluten free. This includes no toppings besides cheese. We added all the toppings we had wanted for the standard pizza. Our total came to 27.49 for a 12” pizza. It did taste good, but NOT that good. It makes no sense that they couldn’t simply exchange the standard pizza for gluten free and then just charge us $3 extra.
Quirky, fun and good! !Came in for the first time and spied the 16in pie and bottle of red wine special. So, I had to try it.From the shop rag napkins to the video games and wall sized chalkboard, this place is not short on character. But you come to a place like this for the food, and they don't disappoint. The pizza is thin style, crispy on the outside but just thick enough to have a tender interior.Seems that most of the business is take out which is a shame because the staff are so welcoming and fun.If you are in the Georgetown area, stop in and have a Slyce ... you won't regret it.
Have been going here for 4 years. Used to be a weekly date night. The service, atmosphere, and food have gone downhill over the last year. My partner and I will sadly not be returning.
