While visiting in the area I was able to visit this restaurant on a whim, and I a glad I did. The food and service were excellent, not to mention the more than fair pricing given the times. Highly recommended to anyone looking for something off the beaten trail. (Try the Tibetan noodle soup.)

They gave me 2 spoons of chiura (flattened rice) , 4 small pieces of potatoes, a spoon of boiled edamame and a boiled-fried egg for $12+ tax. This is their veggie samay baji. Momo is avg. I've tasted some worse momo, so their momo is okayish. Staffs are very friendly.

This review comes from a Nepali person living in the U.S. for many years now and who constantly is in search of delicious momo whenever they venture into big American cities. Having tasted momo in many places throughout the U.S., I have to say that momo at Himalayan Heritage should be at the near top of my list (second only to the exotic bison momo in Jackson Hole, WY, but that one owes much to its uniqueness). At Heritage, I tried their steamed chicken momo in specific, twice the same week, and would have tried one more time if I'd stayed in DC longer. I also tried their jhol/soup momo, which was good but not as good. Their chatamari was decent but it looked more like a crepe and did not have the classic "Nepali pizza" aesthetic. Pakodas were delicious though. Overall, it was a great find for the chicken steamed momo alone and I highly recommend it if you're wanting to try some momo. The staff were very friendly and the ambiance was amazing with the traditional Nepali touch to it.

Great location. Lived in Nepal for three years and this place has really good cuisine, great service, and some staples that are hard really classic Nepali dishes but hard to find in Nepali restaurants in the United States (i.e. Newari kaja plate).

Great food, great service and very clean in the dining room and bar.I definitely recommend this place.Friendly staff and prices are reasonable.Keep it up guys. I love dining here!

Great food and location. The mixed veggie pakoras from here are amazing! I had the chana masala and it came with jasmine rice. My friend got the tikka masala and really liked it. The garlic naan was amazing as well. If you like indian/south asian food, this is a great spot!

Charged $20 for one curry and $8 for a soup the same size ? Absolutely not a fair portion size

Delicious, authentic, and fresh food. The staff are all wonderful and friendly. We’ll definitely be back!

The atmosphere and service here are amazing! The naan and dumplings are great, this is some of the best South Asian cuisine I've found in DC so far!

Great ambiance, service, and very good momos. I have had traditional momos in the Himalayas, and the flavors here were pretty authentic! Highly recommend!
