These ladies KNOW their coffee, my goodness. My SO is a dedicated patron and loves their cold brew--"velvety smooth" he says. I learned the hard way that the cold brew is a wee bit too caffeinated for me (I'm a weakling when it comes to caffeine), but their iced coffee is delicious. They also have a substantial selection of brewed coffees all with tasting notes--I love the tasting notes!
This is an ethiopian women owned cafe!It has such a peaceful and quiet environment inside which is perfect for studying and doing work! I got a decaf americano with oat milk. There is a wide variety of coffees and teas. There are also pastries and ethiopian sambusas!
Stepped in at just the right time to catch the action, as the shop roasts their own beans, and saw them being poured out of the machine! My wife got her double espresso, and I choose the latte. They serve larger cups then most coffee shops, which made me happy . The shop is quaint and beautifully adorned. Giving off a very chill vibe I would have sat and enjoyed my drink looking out the window.
If I could write a love song to Harrar, I would. I loved next to this coffee shop for 5 years and I very single cup of coffee I’ve had since I moved away I’ve compared to Harrar. The light roast will send you soaring through the stars.
Great atmosphere and smells great as soon as you walk in. Nice staff, great coffee and tasty pastries.
One of my favorite spots to stop by in DC. I just moved to DC and love the home-like atmosphere. Great coffee, and it’s always great to chat with the owner who is so warm and welcoming! Totally recommend stopping by- if you want to support a small, black-owned business, this is the place to be!
Coffe is great, people here is SO nice! And their sambusas, almond croissant and ham and cheese croissant are unbelievable ?
Visited from Seattle, and Harrar was the first coffee shop I stopped at. I LOVE IT! You have to stop by! It’s so homey and cute. The owner is wonderful, warm and welcoming. 100/10 review and recommend (:
I'm new to the Park View neighborhood, but this has become my go-to coffee shop. Simple store, friendly staff, and delicious coffee - and strong, which I like. :) I have only done takeaway to date, and look forward to hanging out at this place when conditions allow. Great shop with great coffee - I'll be back!
You can find an excellent cup of premium Ethiopian coffee here. My favorite is to mix the light Ethiopia Yirgacheffe coffe with the Ethiopia Yirgacheffe medium, it makes a perfect cup of coffee. They roast the beans on site. The coffee is fresh and hot. Great customer service as well. Check the hours before you go, they close early now post Covid. Enjoy!
