It was a great evening at the Hard Rock Cafe Washington

Please wait before we’re done before 1) asking us for desserts 2) taking our plates away (you literally took it while one of us was still eating)

Waitress was overwhelmed at a time when restaurant levels were low. Food came out wrong on 2 of the 6 entrees. Super expensive for a sub par meal.

Food was ok but service poor. No water on the table, 3 out of 6 orders incomplete or wrong. f.e., wrong burger, burger was well done instead of medium (why did they even ask?). Overprized beer. The bill was - after some discussion - finally corrected by the friendly manager.

Timing of meals was terrible (2 meals came after 4 others were done) and the server never checked on us!

We had a good experience and good food. Our waiter was knowledgeable. This is a solid place to grab a burger.

The attention was not good, the menu that was before was better, now they changed it, the birthday Browne is not free in good restaurants, it is free, we did not like the attention at all.

I guess you know what you're getting into when you go to Hard Rock Cafe but the cost was still shocking to me even knowing that. It just isn't a good value but both the service and food/ drink quality were quite good. and it's a fun place to be. It's just extremely expensive for what you get. If you can handle that, go for it. If not, the shake shack around the corner might make more sense.

Excellent meal, service very quick and good.

Came for lunch with a friend while we were on this end of town. Food was alright, not good not bad, typical HRC. Winnie was our server. She was very attentive to keeping our drinks refilled, and it was so evident that she was knowledgeable about the very limited menu that she suggested drinks at 11:00 in the morning, the most expensive appetizer, the most expensive entree… and, you guessed it, the most expensive dessert. Furthermore, I certainly did not appreciate her demanding (not asking or offering) that my friend and I both each leave a Google review after she rang up our bill (but prior to tip). Before this, I would’ve given the overall food & experience 3 stars (it’s HRC. My experience down the street at Old Ebbitt Grill was truly worthy of a 4-5 star rating; steak frites was excellent!). However, Winnie has zero understanding of social cues. She kept pushing us to order more even after us repeatedly saying no. She also kept insisting that we both leave reviews that explicitly mentioned her name. She hovered over us, tapped our phone screens multiple times, and had the audacity to ask me why I only gave a 2 star rating (newsflash: this! My review should be MY REVIEW). Then, she told me I could edit it and give her 5 stars instead. This time, she tapped my screen for me, makes the edit, and gives herself the 5 stars. After I left the restaurant, I deleted it completely. Why would I leave an dishonest review about my server & service? That helps absolutely no one. So since I booked my reservation on OpenTable and, as a visitor of DC, I take the reviews seriously. This is my honest review. I’m not one to be picky about restaurants, and this is the first low review I’ve ever written. It was unacceptable behavior from a server. And since she was so adamant that we explicitly mention her name, it was Winnie. But don’t worry. My momma raised me right, and I still tipped. She just didn’t get the 5 star Google review that she thought she gave herself.
