Good place to pop in and have quick bite to eat. Prices were very reasonable given the location.+ you might meet you favorite Rep or senator there.
I enjoyed eating here the food is really good. It has a nice outdoor dining area, and it's in a good location. Out of the way but not far from from Capitol Hill. I recommend going
Good selection of beers, some local beers on tap, really good wings. A coworker and I split some wings, pretzels, and fries while having a few beers. It was a great way to wind down a long day of hiking all over the Congressional offices. The service was excellent, and while we didn't take advantage of it, they had outdoor seating. I will definitely be coming back the next time I'm in town on business.
This place was awesome! It is truly a hidden gem. It's a Wisconsin / Packers themed bar just steps away from the national mall. Had VERY affordable drinks ($4 for a PBR in a city like DC is unheard of). Food was good and reasonably priced.
Loved it. Small but spacious. Bar and Restaurant together. Quick in and quick food. Very tasty food. Fry's need to cook a little longer. Au jus roast beef sandwich was really good with horseradish mayo. Good selection and the staff is courteous. Off the beaten path on 2nd St.
Great food/drinks kool staff
Great food! Great food! And did I mention the Great food?! Ate here twice while in DC. Second night night was very busy and all but one worker was very helpful and nice. Definitely a place you need to try for an amazing burger, wings and drinks!
Pretty good food and atmosphere. Nice for a REAL taste of DC.
After a long day of traveling, we were in search of some dinner in an unfamiliar city. We walked into this establishment and were told by an employee they "potentially had a party of 100 coming in 30 minutes". We were a party of 7. We asked him if we weren't allowed to eat there. After a long, uncomfortable pause, he told us if we wanted to stay we needed to start a tab at the bar. After experiencing their rude demeanor, we told him we'd go find another place to eat that deserved our business..obviously, this guy wasn't in the mood to work that night (Wednesday, 3/30). Not sure if the party of 100 ever showed up, but I sure hope they didn't, bc this place didn't deserve their business either.
This review is for a visit in April 2018 -- After a long day in D.C. where I was fairly hungry and wanted a quick drink as well, I came across Hamilton’s. I walked in around 7:30 or so and they were packed outside and the inside was fairly quiet. I took a seat at the bar where it seemed like I was largely ignored. It took someone a while just to place my order, the food came out fairly fast, but once it did come out, I was once again ignored. I was only asked in passing if I needed anything to which I said I needed a refill and was given the wrong drink. The problem was i was never checked on again until they brought the bill to even say I was given the wrong drink. The food, overall, was very good and I found the prices to be about average. This place did what I needed it to but that was about it. Then furthermore, when I posted my review on Google, the owner first questioned whether if I had even been there because I posted the review a year later. Upon editing my review to reflect that I was there a year prior, the owner called me a scum bag for leaving the review a year later and told never to come back. That tells you all you need to know about this place...
