We visited Grillfish on our last day of vacation in Washington DC and loved it! The food was fantastic, the service was top notch. The food was reasonably priced. We will definitely go back on our next visit, highly recommended!!
We were visiting from out of town and wanted a good, casual seafood restaurant. Grillfish delivered on all counts. The seafood was excellent, at a reasonable price. Definitely better than some of the bib name, fancy restaurants. We would love to go back the next time weâre in town
Took my young adult son to Grillfish at his request. Food was fine but definitely not commensurate with the price. Service was so-so; had to remind my waiter of my drink order, etc. Fish kebabs ($50) were fine but again -- not worth the price. I did enjoy my salmon BLT, which was a better value. And finally, it was a nice summer night, I had requested outdoor seating on Open Table, and was told when we checked in that they were not setting up tables (on a Friday night), which seemed a bit strange to me.
We went to celebrate my husbands birthday. The food was really great, but the service and ambiance were lackluster. We had a large party of 10, but there was no special attention given to the man of the hour. I would definitely go back for an intimate meal but not to celebrate.

The whole experience at this restaurant was spectacular, from the hostess that greeted you, to our top notch waiter Chris. The food was amazing , and you could actually carry on a conversation.
Way overpriced for lackluster food. Could've gone to Red Lobster.

Excellent food, amazing service, and great ambiance to celebrate our anniversary. The staff was kind and congratulatory. Would definitely recommend visiting for a special occasion or date night.
Everything was wonderful! Our server was knowledgable, had great recommendations, and was very helpful when it came to navigating public transportation. Food was delicious and the space is beautiful. THANK YOU!
