The tasting menu was fantastic and service was decent. In hindsight, I should not have ordered the wine pairing, as it was quite pricey and I think the cocktails would have been better. Minor thing is that small specs of insulation kept falling from the ceiling, probably from the overhead air duct.
Gravitas was good - not outstanding. We found the fixed menu somewhat limited; the service and ambiance were ok. Some of the dishes were very good (tuna starter), others were just average (pork belly). Portions were on the small side - even considering this was a 5 course menu. Overall, it did not meet our expectations, both as a Michelin rated restaurant, and particularly in value. We asked for two bottles of some of the lowest priced wines and our bill went way north of a $1K for 4 people.
Absolutely one of my most memorable meals. Every course and every wine pairing was exquisite. Definitely a place to go for special occasions.
Celebrating Fatherâs dayâ¦chefs tasting menu was phenomenal. Staff was so attentiveâ¦from the the hostess, sommelier, waitstaff and chef. Food was exceptionalâ¦beautiful presentation and delicious. Wine selection was also wonderful. A very memorable experience.
My husband and I arrived on time for our reservation in the main dining room. We then sat for over 20 minutes without anyone stopping at our table. I was baffled to wait this long for a server to welcome us or take drink orders -- especially at a Michelin starred restaurant. Eventually, a waiter came by and asked how we were doing and seemed genuinely surprised that no one had helped us yet. I understand restaurants get busy (tables were almost full), but this is not the service I would expect at this price point and with a star. Disappointing start. The service was better once we placed our orders, and the staff was friendly. The food was very tasty and creative, but we walked away feeling less than full -- I have felt fuller and much better cared for at other similarly priced and recognized restaurants in the area.
Very nice. The food was tasty. The presentation was beautiful. I recommend the rooftop menu over the main dining room menu. We will be back to try the gin flight.
Two different vibes between their main room (Michelin) and their patio/rooftop (relaxed) but two great atmosphere.Beautifully designed 5-set courses, exquisite flavours, and a very nice wine selection. Not the least, The staff was amazing and very knowledgeable (Daniel, and other great people at the bar and in the kitchen)
Perfect seasonal and local menu, outstanding and caring staff, interesting gin flight for my husband in the conservatory, the service and meal were faultless… truly a delightful dining experience and worth every cent. We will be back.. and soon. :)
Fantastic - our server Pat, was the best!
Sadly, it was a disappointment. I expected more from this restaurant. I do feel that perhaps it was an off night for the restaurant as I have only heard positive reviews. But my entire party of 4 was disappointed with our experience.
