Things I like: Good burgers and shakes! Fries are actually really good too (despite some of the reviews suggesting otherwise) but you have to eat them fresh. They put all their fries immediately into a sealed paper bag so they will get soggy unless you eat them at the restaurant. They also have a selection of fry dipping sauces that are good!Things I dislike: the burger size could definitely be bigger. I do eat a lot but I can easily finish 2 burgers in one sitting (which is waaaay too expensive for my budget). Their beer selection is pretty underwhelming too, they only have 1 option at the moment. Finally, they charge a 5% “COVID surcharge.” I absolutely understand the time we live in but just be honest and raise your prices… don’t add on a hidden 5% fee. Fees like this feel very dishonest to me and that’s why I knocked them down from 4 to 3 stars.

The worst service I ever had probably, the girl was really not happy to be here. No smile, no hello, no please, no thanks, she didn't even looked at me that was crazy..Also they forgot our order , so we wait more without any apologize..The food was good, but please do something about our staff, probably a training to explain how smile and how be cordial

Food was delicious, staff were friendly and knowledgeable. The Toasted Marshmallow shake was AMAZING!! My only regret was that we didn't find it sooner.

One of the best burgers I’ve ever had, and reasonably priced as well. The Prez was definitely worth the money, and the rest of my crew loved the burgers they got. The toasted marshmallow milkshake was heavenly. If I was a legislative staffer I’d be eating here everyday.

Cashier was not well trained with the menu & unfriendly. My fries were limp. They were out of some condiments. My order was not correct. The bathrooms were dirty and had no paper to use. The workers asked me to stand up from my meal three times while they moved chairs & tables around me.

Absolutely delicious hamburgers! Not too expensive, either! I'm a meat and potato guy, and consider myself a bit of a burger connoisseur, so that's high praise from me, yo! I'm trying to be mindful of my sugar intake, so I didn't order a shake, but thinking about it now, I should have! ??Conveniently located a couple of blocks from the Library of Congress.

Fantastic burger experience. I’m visiting DC but this place is worth coming back for. I had the Prez Obama Burger and my wife had a steakhouse burger. Both were completely different but still very tasty. The fries were fresh, hot and crispy. We shared what they call a snack size which was a very nice portion and we didn’t leave one fry behind. The sauces helped. Some of which I haven’t seen at many other burger joints. Mango, Old Bay, Horseradish just time name a few. We left very happy.

Good burgers in a 2 story space. Order downstairs and take your food upstairs to a sit down dining area. The fries were a bit burnt as if the oil hadn't been changed but were made from real fresh cut potatoes. The burgers themselves were tasty, nice and filling. If you enjoy a giant burger you may want to get two -my teenage brother wanted another- but we were satisfied with just one. The shakes we tried (oreo, toasted marshmallow and malt) were all tasty.

Burger - pretty decent, fries - pretty bad, milkshake - pretty good. The burger had a lot going for it (had the Obama Burger), it was juicy and the flavors/sauces went well together, but it was really soggy and greasy immediately after it was prepared (ate in); overall pretty decent burger. The fries unfortunately were the worst part. Got the Village fries which adds rosemary and some seasonings. They had no salt on them and were very soggy and underfried, pretty big letdown. The milkshake was actually very good (cookies and cream), nice and thick w/ a good wide straw. If the fries had not been so bad, I'd consider coming back, but the fries are half the experience for me. Wouldn't eat here again (or would ask the fries to be well done).

Came here cause it was close to the Capitol and had lots of reviews. To be honest I’m not sure why cause the food was ok. Burgers tasted alright. The fries were not good but better with the thyme and rosemary. I think it’s also the oil in fries that I didn’t like. Also ordered two shakes. Salted caramel (my mom liked that) and a cookies n cream shake that of course didn’t have enough cookies. It was pretty much a vanilla shake. Maybe it was just the workers that day cause they weren’t that friendly. You know when you don’t want to be at work and others can tell? Yeah it was like that.
