I was excited to try Gogi Yogi, a Korean BBQ restaurant in the city without needing to drive out to Annandale. Turns out that this place was wildly disappointing just to drive Annandale. The service was excellent our server was amazing. I just can't get over how expensive the food was. It was insane. My bill was like 120 for two people without any alcohol. The food was ok, definitely not worth the price.
Staff is very friendly and attentive! Bulgogi and fried chicken are so so good and worth going back for.Word of caution - do not get the galbi marinated short ribs. I’m pretty sure what they served us was not short ribs…it was inedible, chewy fatty chunks of meat.
I really really enjoyed this meal. Its a little pricey, but after proposing to my now fiance, we decided to go here. Our service was quick and the food was amazing. I recommend if toying with the idea of coming here to just send it. Kept the fíance happy and was great food. Great job guys. Will be coming back.
The experience was amazing ??Our services was great?. Kyle was the sweetest. Very attentive to our needs.They serve some Halal food. [On the menu it has 'H' next to it for Halal. And 'GF' for gluten-free]It's an awesome place to go to if it's your first time eating at a place like a Korean BBQ ??
This is an absolute gem in DC. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful and their menu is amazing. I will definitely be going back there next time I'm in the area. Their menu is available online and they are very reasonably priced. The cuts of meat were great quality and the ban chan was delicious. I cannot recommend this place enough and I highly recommend going!
Me and my friends came here yesterday around 6 pm. First we got hit with attitudes from everyone who serviced us. Then we got to sit at the bar, it was an Asian dude working, he came over and had an attitude with us aswell. We got served 3 glasses of ice water (one for each of us) but my friends glass had lipstick on it (see picture) which obviously means it wasn’t washed correctly so who knows what else wasn’t washed properly. And it was an hour wait.. we literally worked a minute walk from this place. Never again
We were very impressed with this place! The service was well paced and the staff was friendly. The restaurant looked and felt pretty clean. The food was excellent, we got mandu and japchae starters. For the main grill we got an order of bulgogi and wagyu. The price of the meat with the quality matched well. The staff here turns on the grill to the right setting for you, which is nice especially for people new to this experience. I was a little disappointed they didn't seem to have gimbap on their menu, but overall a wonderful experience!
4 stars - for the food, not the staff.The staff was nice enough, the food was excellent. Here’s why I’m not giving 5 stars.We had a group of 9 + an infant. We arrived at 11:50 for our 12pm reservation. 1 adult & 1 child in our party needed to use the facilities but they asked us to please wait on the patio until they opened. They wouldn’t let anyone in to even use the bathroom. Our table worked out well enough but we were tightly cramped even after being the first customers of the day. The food was AMAZING and we only needed to ask to get refills on drinks and food. When we asked for lettuce leaves to do wraps “they were not yet prepared”. ?!? But you’re open now…..?They also were out of several soda items.The staff just seemed a little green, but our server was nice enough. I would go back for the food, with the understanding to be more forgiving on availability and service. And maybe not bringing 9 people for a $400+ meal.

I just finished eating here tonight and I rarely leave reviews. However the food and service were amazing! I ate so much daikon radish and cucumber that I had to ask the server to cut me off. But he still brought more! Absolutely exceptional service to the point my husband commented that the service was too good.
