When you are dying of hunger because you haven't eaten since the afternoon before, counting calories and thinking about the healthiest choices tends to gonout the window. At least it did for me. I had come to this place a few tines in the past, andI've always had a great experience. Today was no different. I showed up at around 12:30pm and the place wasnearly full! I took the only single table that was available and waited to place my order. I decided on the carne asada llatter that included rice (arroz), beans (frijoles), and salad (ensalada). I waited a littlebwhile along with everyine else who had olaced an order ahead of mine, and it was all good. I sat and chilled, while sipping on a Corona. The platter came soon enough, and the carne asada was everything that I had expected. Spicy as all get up, and the rice and beans so delicious

We enjoyed our breakfast made-to-order with papusas!!!Thank you Gloria for a comfortable meal.

I don’t leave a ton of Google reviews, but this place is such a gem! Love their pupusas that are both well priced and super tasty! I always end up ordering extra for leftovers!Used to be cash only, but they do accept credit cards now!

They overcharged me for the beef soup and pupusa. Very dishonest. I tried asking the waitress but received no answer. Stay away.

Popusas were very good. The establishment is very small.

Stay away. They charged me higher prices than what was listed on the menu. I asked the waitress and she gave me no answer. They may have gained a few dollars in the short-run, but they lost a customer for life.

Just ordered 4 types of their pupusas, revueltas ,queso, loroco, y chicaron, they were decent, they were ok, very sub par ingredients, missing a lot of its traditional kick, restaurant was clean and service was fast.

Decently priced pupusas. The staff were mediocre. The pupusas here were very good, though, and I enjoyed their horchata. This place is conveniently located in the heart of Columbia Heights.

Food was super greasy. I had a large order and the huevos rancheros tasted like fish. The fried rockfish wasn’t cooked throughly nor were the pupusas. Everything is WAY over priced. DO NOT RECOMMEND.

Need to learn better customer service
