So delicious food. Everything is gears towards an excellent experience. The staff is very friendly and ready to help. The restaurant don’t have an Apple Pay, since me and my wife use’s almost everywhere and one additional thing wore if you don’t have an ID card you can’t be served alcohol even if we look adults we felt uncomfortable but we used other credit cards to pay and we cancel my wife’s wine order. The views of the water are amazing and there are plenty of things to walk to in the area.
Thought we’d have lunch on a pretty afternoon at this place. NEVER. AGAIN. The staff were rude and incompetent, all the way up to the manager. Waste of time. If you want to eat on the water, keep walking. There are far better places nearby.
5 stars for real in every aspect. It has both a very fancy area indoor and a fancy yet relaxed area in the patio. The service was amazing, the food was superb, the cocktails were delicious and generous. Canver the manager was very kind and served us the calamari complementary make us feel even better served! I didn’t know the Branzino taste this good until I tried it here. We were only two so we couldn’t try more plates but do yourself a favor and try Fiola Mare!
This is my first negative review of a restaurant … I’m pretty easy to please. There’s no reason to go to this restaurant. The views are good from some tables, but there are the same good views all along the waterfront. Our drinks were overwrought … cool ingredients but too many of them. The food was overpriced and under-sized. The bill for four people was almost $500 for reference and we left hungry. The ravioli was heavily lemon-flavored. I do not recommend.

The food here was all extremely good. We had east coast oysters, fabulous. Bread had to be ordered separately, but it was three delicious New England “Popovers” also sometimes called Yorkshire pudding. On the menu I think the bread was called “spirale di pane.” No matter what one called them, they were the best I have ever had in my life. My Italian mother used to make these for us, sorry Mom, these were better! I had papparadelle as a side, fantastic! Seafood Brodetto was very good. If you have 2-4 dessert eaters, definitely try the Grand Chocolate Cake! I believe it was made with nut flour, not wheat flower and had layers of chocolate ganache. Fabuloso! Cocktails and wine: made extremely well and the wine was also fine. Service: perfection. Attentive, informative, quiet. The unobtrusive, fine service made it an even lovelier evening. Tip: Ask for tap water, in Italian “aqua ordinario” if you just wanted a sip when you sit down. I was going to order a cocktail, but wanted a sip of water first. What I got was a $9 of still water. Tip: Reserve as far in advance as possible. Tip: sit in the big main room. We were stuck all the way in the back by the bar, up against the glass wine cellar. Not the place to sit, and because I was against the wine cellar, I was cold all night, made worse by May evening temperatures in the 40’s and 50’s. Not the place I would have chosen to sit.

Delicious is the operable word. From the Wellfleet oysters on the 1/2 shell w / vinaigrette to the prawns to the Bordetto. This is one of the best best seafood restaurants I have eaten at. The staff is phenomenal, the cocktails are amazing. Fantastic all around! Don't forget dessert!!!

This place is very expensive, it's trendy, and the crowd can be bougie, so you'd think it wouldn't be good, but it's always a great experience coming here. The staff is excellent, super professional, and yet friendly. The food is always excellent. Oysters are great, entrees are great, wine list is great. Ambiance is great. You can sit near the windows if you want, or you can sit farther back and have a great view of the kitchen. Every time I come here, I love it. It's a "must visit" place every time I'm in Washington.
