One of the best vegan meals I’ve had. Almost everything could also be prepared in a celiac friendly form. I only managed to take pictures of about half of the dishes because we ate the others too quickly.
Vegan food. The tastes and textures are exquisite, and the dishes are beautifully presented. Portion sizes are adequate. Service was excellent, but with the only crisis that the dishes are brought out much too fast.
The food portion is very small! Basically, you have to order more than 3 meals to get full which costs minimum 50$ per person. Also, the quality of the food is awful! Like the bread was so oily and salty! If you order one more bread, they cost you 3$ which is ridiculous! The service is not also good! It took more than 20 minutes for us to get our food! The restroom was out of toilet paper, but clean though! Generally, it is a huge waste of money to go to this restaurant in my opinion! Not recommend at all!
This restaurant continues to discriminate based on medical status. Disturbing in my opinion.
They force children to have an ineffective and experimental vaccine in order to enter, it’s absolutely sick! Especially if you look at the studies have come out showing how ineffective they are! Shane on you for your segregation tactics while preaching inclusiveness.
Great customer service! All the food came out in decent time. Every dish looked so beautiful and you can tell the creative thought behind them yet so tasty! Everything had good seasoning - nothing needed anything extra. The desserts were delicious. Also loved the alcohol free drinks they had!!
The atmosphere is warm, inviting and cozy. They have an extensive wine list and the waitstaff is well-versed in the wine and was able to recommend a delicious lighter-bodied red wine for us to enjoy since we like pinot noirs. The food itself was outstanding! My fiance and I shared the fondue 10/10 (the house made pickled veggies and pretzel? Incredible!), the potatoes sans peanuts (for my fiance's allergy) and the dan dan noodles and portobello steak. I have never liked mushrooms before, but I think I am converted now! We finished with the apple tart and it was also amazing, the rosemary cream was unlike I have ever tried before but worked so fantastically together! Really want to get my vegetarian mom and meat-loving dad in here, I think they'd both love it! Cannot wait to come back for future date nights and birthday dinners!! :)
My husband and I are vegan and we LOVE Fancy Radish. Seriously, whenever we have an occasion to celebrate, we go to this restaurant. The food is incredible! Every dish is crafted to perfection and has such a unique flavor profile. The drinks are always great. And the staff is always welcoming and warm! The only reason I’m rating 4/5 is take out. We ordered 4 dishes, and were unfortunately disappointed. It tasted like they had been sitting around for hours, and the foods really weren’t seasoned well or dressed. The portobello steak was soggy. I wouldn’t order take out from this place again, but we will absolutely be back in person. Don’t judge this place based on take out, it’s a hidden gem in DC
Simply put the Fancy Radish is a vegan restaurant that has a delicious base of flavors for their food, however I thought several dishes had to much spicy heat (potatoes, noodles) I prefer my mouth not to feel like it's burning while I eat. The service was fantastic & the physical place was simply comfortable.
Delicious high end vegan food on H Street in Washington DC. Lots of thoughtful tasty options from around the world.
