Very good experience for lunch in family. The good was fresh, healthy, vegan and afordable. The vegan shawarma bowl was delightful, as well as the falafel one. We also read on the company we site that à part of the profit is given to feeding refugees. ?
Amazing prices and freshly fried falafel! So tasty and on the wharf too- wow! I always ask for light on the fresh spinach because they give you so much. Lots of vegan choices -love their sauces too.
The falafel sandwich and shawarma sandwich were so delicious and fresh. Surprisingly affordable, especially considering the location. Definitely recommend!
Literally one of the best values in DC. The falafel bowl is loaded with spinach, falafels, toppings, and as much sauce as you want for $7. You can add fries for $3. The fries are bomb, have great flavor, and they are generous with the serving. This is hands down the cheapest meal I have had since moving from Queens to DC. The food and sauces taste great. The red sauce is SPICY. I love spicy sauces but a little goes a long way with this one.
Falafel so good that the birds will walk right up to you and try to steal it! Good price for the amount too.
It’s THE falafel spot in DC. Fresh and tender! Love the $6 falafel veggie bowl with garlic sauce ? Wish they sold tabbouleh as a side. Try it and you’ll be back soon!
Haven't been here since I moved out of DC in 2019, and glad to see in 2022 it's all still the same. They actually have a larger menu, but same great prices. Most things are almost $5 for a whole meal. The sauces are absolutely great, many to choose from. Great place to grab lunch and then take it down to the water to eat. I hope they continue to keep it the same!
I was delighted to eat here. The food is good and hit the spot. But I am a little surprised by the over-the-top reviews. This Falafel is good. It is not amazing. The falafel balls were totally fine. I’d eat here again. But given the falafel restaurants popping up today, this is not a standout place. If you are in the area and crave falafel, go here. You’ll be happy. If you are going out of your way for “amazing falafel”, I think this isn’t the place.
What a great place. The food is simply amazing!! The price is unbelievable. The cause is is such a wonderful bonus! $5 for a whole bowl of food in DC. It just may be the best falafel I've ever had. The sauces are awesome. The green and red were so hot. Two people were running the whole thing when I was there. Doing a great job. Definitely recommend! Definitely will go back.
This place is so amazing. The falafels are probably the best I've ever eaten. Light and fluffy. Cheap eats in DC. $5 for a bowl. $3 for a sandwich. $3 for fries. The sauces are excellent. The red and green sauces are hot and tasty. The white sauces are great. Would definitely recommend and definitely will go back. Everything is vegetarian and they support such a worthy cause. Thanks!
