I was in my car, steaming at the non-moving traffic that wasn't going anywhere fast on this evening's commute. So I decide to go up to Dupont, park and walk around. I find this tea shop I never noticed in the slight walkdown of a brownstone.I go in and confess to the person I don't know teas, I only know I like them strong and sweet. She says, "Gotcha. I'll make you a London Fog (Earl Grey tea, steamed milk, vanilla). She got it ready and I went out to sit outside where some parking spots were absconded for open air seating. I let it steep a few minutes more and pour. Sweet and delicious. I relax outside while the traffic was stopped around me. The man walking his waddling geriatric Labrador. The two young women talking in excited hushes. I people watched forever. And remembered that it's places like this why I moved into the city.
Nice cafe that also serves alcohol.
Great place and friendly staff. It was packed on a Friday morning. I love that they were pet friendly... Tables indoors have a one hour limit. Clean tables and comfortable chairs. Internet was not working for me so I couldn't stay there for long. They have outdoor seating and it's difficult to find a table too. The parking is difficult around this area like almost every other place in DC. Overall this is a great vibe with good food.
Nice Nook in Dupont Circle. Had their Mocha and chocolate crissont. Drink was lukewarm, will asked them to make it extra hot. Overall, a nice place!
Coffee and cupcake was just ok. The worst part is its a small space but they let people with empty plates and cups plant themselves there all day working on their laptop. So basically its a coworking space. If there's a next to zero chance I can actually sit and enjoy a coffee, I won't be coming back. It's very environmentally unfriendly to allow people to sit and take up space all day and just do takeaway unrecyclable cups for the majority of people.
Nice place in a quiet spot. Good coffee. Small patio is in a nice spot with trees for shade.
Amazing atmosphere while I was working without Wifi in my own home. The baristas seem to have a good time together and I enjoyed their presence. The avocado toast and chai latte with almond milk is delicious. Highly recommend !
A nice little coffee shop tucked away on a quiet residential street. Good coffee and nice ambiance. They also have a small discount for people the cycle to the shop
Best flat white I've had in DC; also thoughtful small menu with happy hour bubbly!
Near perfect lates every time.
