Great drinks and food
Their food is great. I'm speaking to their carryout -- if you order carryout, check the bag before you leave. Every time we have ordered takeout, and I do mean EVERY time, something has been wrong. Multiple times they've left out the chips when we ordered chips and salsa. They've given us the wrong kind of tacos. Once they flat out left out one of our entrees. We're going to start pulling our bag apart in their foyer just because we're tired of driving home and then driving back.We won't stop ordering from them, let's be honest. Again, their food is great...when you get it. But check the bag before you leave, because they really don't pay attention when putting takeout orders together. Once is an accident, two times is coincidence, ten times is negligence.
Was pretty busy, but I was alone, so seating at the bar was easy. Chicken quesadillas were awesome, and seriously came out in like 3 minutes! Could've used a little more sour cream and guac, but no complaints. Lamont was the bartender and he was super cool.
We were staying next door in a hotel. We needed something to eat like an hour ago. We walked into this restaurant which was packed. The hostess said it was at least an hour wait. As we headed out she said we could sit at the bar and eat. We did and it was great. Super conversations with out neighbors, good food and excellent drinks. You cannot ask for more.
First time visit. Was greeted promptly and by friendly staff. Very nice inside. Viewing thy menu was easy via QR code. Got the spicy ground beef tacos, rice and beans and a frozen margarita. Everything was presented nicely and tasted great. I was initially worried the "spicy" beef might be too spicy but it actually was perfect and tasted more seasoned than spicy to me. Will def be back.
I tried this restaurant out just meeting the girls for drinks. Omg! Fajitas amazing! Chips for table are even good, they are seasoned! The passion fruit margarita was sooooooo good! I went back for take out and i may go back before holiday weekend is out! Cory was great! And The person on the phone was very nice and made ordering easy and quick! The vibe is great! A little pricey but I believe you get what you pay for. Definitely my new spot! Enjoy!
This place had a nearly perfect rating on Uber Eats and I was craving enchiladas so I had to give them a try. Overall, a decent meal. Portion sizes are great. Enchiladas were kind of dry. Churro donuts were a little on the greasy side but love the chocolate sauce. No big complaints on the Bulgogi tacos, probably really great fresh, in restaurant. I ordered the Mexican street corn dip which sounded bomb but unfortunately was left out of my delivery. Liked the seasoning on the chips. Will give this place another try because I liked the homemade feel, good portions and it is packaged well.
Apps were spot on and prices are pretty good for the Navy Yard. Tacos were just okay, and our desert was not fully fried (churro donut) so it was raw inside. But it was busy on a Friday night. 4 stars overall, mostly for the service, which was attentive and spot on. Food aside, it was likely the best service I've had in DC
The 3 salsa chip appetizer was delicious. The salsas were very flavorful. Happy hour margaritas were yummy and had plenty of alcohol.
