I find it insulting to go in a black owned establishment to purchase a traditional dish of black people (macaroni and cheese) and receive something as bland, disgusting and processed as this mac and cheese was. Why would you even sell this to people? It's barely edible. There's ZERO cheese in it! U will continue to support black business. Just not this one
I called to let him know there was metal in my meal that I almost ingested and he said “so what do you want me to do about it? It was probably the metal from the scrubber we use to clean the pots” I told him that the least he could do is apologize and extend good customer service and he responded “for what, what does customer service have to do with it?”
I went in for hot tea was met with an attitude bc the didnt want to explain something to me.Dude was rude and didnt even have the mask on properly, Look's to be the owner acting like that!
The cashier attitude is rude, his customer service is terrible. But the cooks are great.
Cooked plastic into my Mac n Cheese! And because it was ordered via DoorDash the SUPERVISOR said “it could hv been the driver” smh in the pic I attached u can clearly see tht the piece of plastic was not only stirred into my food but cooked with it! I didn’t call to ask for a refund or more food jst to advice the cooks and Management but with accountability not being taken.. they must DO BETTER as a food establishment tht claims authenticity.
Never got a chance to taste the food because the older guy was very rude when I ordered coffee so I was discouraged to get anything to eat

Black male cashier talked too much and too loudly to a seated metro staffer. Made it unsafe as he kept removing his mask in a small space as the business uses a small space to operate.
The ackee and saltfish is amazing
The owner could use some better customer service. The portion size are very small for what you spend. Bathroom was clean. I ate oxtail platter. It was good.
