ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! We’ve been there twice, and although both times have had somewhat of an issue technically, their fantastic customer service and food ENTIRELY make up for it (and likely there was some amount of error on my part).I’ve had their brown sugar milk tea, rose milk tea, coconut milk tea (with coffee jelly), and jasmine green tea (with cheese foam) all with boba, along with the seafood onigiri and classic spam onigiri (with tuna). It has all tasted like a dream (as long as you take a second to mix the drinks slightly)! It is the best boba and onigiri I have ever had, hands down.I think my favorite for the boba would have to be tied between the coconut milk tea with coffee jelly and the jasmine green tea with cheese foam. They are completely different experiences, but equally have strong and lovely tastes.Sadly, I’m moving and will not be able to return and get more from this wonderful shop, but I hope this review will help support them and encourage them to keep doing what they’re doing, because they’re fantastic. <3

I was given my brown sugar macchiato without any coffee jelly and had to ask for it to be corrected since I saw there was no jelly at the bottom. One of the employees told me that the jelly sometimes floats where the ice is and I was pretty sure coffee jelly sunk to the bottom, but I let it slide. Thankfully, the guy that made my drink notified me that he did forget to put the jelly in there, so he got me a new one in a couple minutes. There was another customer in front of us whose order was done incorrectly too, with whole milk instead of a non-dairy alternative. Good drinks, but the bobaristas seem to make a few errors when making them :(

EDIT 7/1/22The owner graciously honored their comment on my review and we got our tea and tuna bowl on the house. I got the tuna bowl with salad, and it was one of the best tuna poke bowls I have seriously ever had. We also got the sea salt coffee and the dragonfruit rose tea with boba, both which were excellent. We had a lovely time and the cashier was a delight and super helpful. We will for sure be back now!——————————————————————We went on the second or third open day- it was very busy and it seemed they were short-staffed. We got two nigiri, one with pulled pork and one with spam. Tasty but impossible to eat because the wrapping paper stuck to the rice, making them fall apart. The taro and peach tea were okay but the tiramisu was terrible- tasted like a candle.

I don't live in D.C., but I'm so excited to find another Boba Tea place. I highly recommend folks to get their Onigiri, Japanese rice ball snacks. It is so good. My new flavor milk tea, the Cherry Blossom with whipped cream. ?

LOVED the seasonal cherry blossom tea. Not too sweet, not too floral, not too fruity. Such a unique flavor!

Wasn't the best but far from the worst bubble tea. My wife and I ordered the Cherry Blossom Milk Tea and the Brown Sugar Milk Tea. We wanted to get the large of the cherry blossom tea, but you can't get whipped cream with it if you get large. That flavor was pretty good, with similarities to strawberry. The Brown Sugar Milk Tea was okay. There are several reviews about their drinks tasting watered down, and I could definitely imagine this is the case if you didn't get full sweetness on this drink (luckily I did!).However, the ice used in the drink is too small. I typically love crushed ice, but the ice chunks are just small enough to be sucked through the straw with the boba, so expect to drink quite a bit of ice. Overall not a horrible place, but there are definitely many other places in DC with better bubble tea.

I can’t speak to any of the other flavors offered here, but I ordered the Coconut Milk Tea, and there is no tea to be found. It was basically a cup of coconut milk with some pearls at the bottom.

We were really excited to try the new bubble tea place that opened up at the Wharf, and in the spirit of the Cherry Blossoms Festival that was going on around us, we ordered the Cherry Blossom Latte half sweet and with less ice and crystal boba. It was ... not good ): It was sooo sweet even at the half sweet level, and sort of tasted like cough syrup! The crystal boba was also just okay. I really wanted to go back and try the Cherry Blossom Milk Tea - which was the other special to see if that was any better, but the drinks are so expensive! It was around $7 for one! I will give it another try with their standard drinks. I reallyyy liked the art and decor though! Love the E-Tea Phone Home mural! Bubble tea places are few and far between in DC, so its always a welcome sight when another one joins the small club!

First time visiting E-Tea at the Wharf, loved it! The cute interior art caught our eye as we were walking around the square so we decided to go in. We ordered their spring special: Cherry Blossom Milk Tea and a Japanese Cheesecake for dessert. The milk tea had a sweet floral scent and was deliciously creamy but light. The staff was so kind and even gave us three cookies on the house! We’ll definitely be back to try more of their drinks and their selection of onigiri :)

This review is for my in-store ordering experience. The menu is neatly laid out and has a plethora of options. They have a special tea for the cherry blossom festival as well. The shop itself is small, but there is seating outside that would be sufficient on a nice day. I'm not sure if there is a bathroom inside, but there is a public restroom just behind the shop.I enjoyed the bubble tea I ordered, and I look forward to going back.
