Great spot at Western Market best GW University for a quick lunch. My 3 year old and I were immediately seated and split an order of truffle Mac & Cheese & sweet potato fries and it was delicious. In and out in 30 minutes.

Excellent pub and restaurant with a lively atmosphere! The place takes on a worldly theme with a full sized English telephone booth located in the corner and not too mention their culturally eclectic menu. The food was great and the staff was nice. I could see why many people at George Washington university would go for food and fun. Hope this helps!

Just came here for drinks.Very accommodating to a large crowd (with no reservation and wanting to pay checks separately). They have a large enough outdoor seating area. The waitress was very attentive and friendly. She was super knowledgeable about the draft beers - recommend the Poe IPA. We also were able to order Aperol spritz, despite them not listed on official menu. Will have to come back and try the food soon

Dukes was our first stop when we arrived to DC and we absolutely loved it! We had left specific instructions on our reservation and they delivered! Our server, Louis, was extremely friendly and professional. The food was delicious and overall the vibe was just super friendly. I recommend the English breakfast with their mimosa (or two ?) Duke’s, we’ll definitely be back!

Hamburger amazing! Staff kind and friendly! Recommend it!

This place is busy, loud and crowded... but the food is great! You get seated fairly quick and the service is friendly.I was craving burgers and a lot of people always have Dukes grocery on their best burger lists... I can see the hype.*proper burger-delicious! So happy with my choice. It comes med rare or well done. I ordered medium rare and it was perfectly prepared. I ordered it with sweet potato fries. Loved the combination. We would definitely return!

Good food. The brunch menu was a perfect blend for my partner and me. I wanted a burger; she wanted breakfast food. I wanted a Roy Rogers; she wanted coffee and Baileys.Even though it was very busy, we got our food pretty quickly. It was lovely. The wagyu beef tasted very fresh, and the sweet potato fries were a nice compliment to the burger.Their menu seems pretty innovative (even though I’m not a huge fan of Rocket).

My date and I went here last night for our date night dinner and it was a nice experience. First, it’s open in DC with all of the COVID closures and it was pretty empty as well since it was Sunday night after a major holiday. Food was good. Burger was top 10 my date said. Nice, flavorful and juicy. I had a Cali bowl with shrimp which was fresh and tasty. Service was decent, but I had to get the waiters attention towards the end when we wanted to leave. The bathrooms were clean and presentable! It’s the little things. I would recommend this place.

Quickly seated on a Saturday night and what a surprise the burgers were. The reviews are accurate. Cooked medium rare or well - only choices. Medium rare was perfection. As some reviewers mentioned, there was a lot going on with this burger, but it went well for the proper burger at least. Pickles were snappy and delicious. Onions were a bit strong, but the brioche bun carried it all well and we left happy. The sweet potato fries were just right for a started. Great service and we will be back!

Best hamburger ever!
