Superb falls short. I went yesterday to celebrate my birthday and it was the best dining experience I’ve had in a while. Literally everything we ordered was amazing: duck breast, scallops, mussels, escargot, and foie gras. All the dishes were impeccable. The service was outstanding, very attentive and they even played a song I asked for. I’d say Duck Duck Goose is a DC MUST visit. I’m definitely coming back!

This was my first time at Duck Duck Goose and I loved it the minute I walked into the door. The service was impeccable. The food was next level. I will definitely be back because there are a lot of more items on the menu that I must try. When you do go there, please try the DDG Burger...it's next level.

We had a great dinner in duck duck goose (with the expectation of the a/c that didn’t work and it was a HOT).I got the duck confit and loved it. The bone marrow was not great and also not really a shareable dish. The pavlova (dessert) was insane.

I just didn’t love anything, four entrees and it was all very underwhelmed and flavorless. Service was good and the location is nice, it’s a cute restaurant. Not pictured, Duck Bucatini , Frites W/ Curry Aioli & two cocktails.

We came around 6 pm when there is still sunlight around. I love the seat and the view of the outside, although I hope the table was just a tat bigger. The server was really friendly and he took time explaining the menu to us. The only complaint was that we notice it was taking longer than expected for the food to arrive. For drinks we ordered: Limonade Aux Herbes (zero proof cocktail) & the Saget La Perriere Sauvignon Blanc. The mocktail is exceptional. It was very well balanced, not overly sugary, and you can taste all the layers of spices and herbs like you’d expect for a real cocktail. As starter: we went with the Broccolini Agnolotti since there are just so many great reviews on it.It did not disappoint! The broccoli fillings are so creamy and smooth it melts in your mouth. The lemon curd jumps out to me the most - it’s very tarty and it really balances out the creamy taste of the whole palette. If you like a small sweet/ savory type of starter to jump start your meal, this is the perfect choice. As main: we ordered the DDG burger and the duck breast. It’s almost too hard to pick which is better, because they are both so delicious! I love the savory layers of the burger when the fat of the foie gras blends with the smoky meat and the blueberry jam. You get the perfect combinations in your mouth all at once. The duck breast is amazing as well. Medium rare as recommended is perfect. The meat is juicy, tender, and the skin is flavorful and crispy.

Went there a few weeks ago to celebrate my friend’s birthday. I know of the restaurant through IG but my experience made me love it. Betty, the manager, made the birthday personalized and was very hospitable. Our server was attentive and kind! The food was wonderful and never thought I would enjoy duck so much. Must try restaurant!!

Donnie the chef and Jackson were excellent! We knew nothing about the menu and it was explained to a T. I ate raw Lamb for the first time it was really good. Along with other recommended dishes . The perfect place and the explanations on point. I say 5 stars fir this establishment. Your employee on point. I would definitely recommend. This restaurant to many others.

One word for this place....Amazing!Reservation highly suggested, however, they have a cute bar where you can wait while your being seated or just want to quickly experience the ambiance of this cute French restaurant.Opened only 2 months ago, the service is impeccable thanks to our server that night called Amber (ask for her!). Although they apparently have an amazing brunch as well, my friends and I went for dinner and it was such a romantic and chic ambiance. We first ordered some wine and drinks and as an appetizer started with the meat tartare with a poached egg, it was the best we all have ever tasted. After, we were brought our entrees which included a duck breast, soft, amazing sauce, good portion; second was duck leg, crispy, perfectly good and hand cut fettuccine, so good as well!!However, we didn't stop there we ordered two desserts which included the pavlova with passion fruit and another one that although I'll never forget I can't remember the name, but see a picture below.

I took my girlfriend to Duck Duck Goose after she went on a wine tour for her birthday. Our waiter was good and had a lot of experience. The ambiance was nice as well. This restaurant is pretty popular in The DMV and there’s a reason. I recommend this restaurant.

This was a stunning experience. Service and knowledge of the menu was lovely from Amber. The ambience is stunning- exposed brick, candlelight. And the food was one of the better meals I’ve had in dc. Steak tartare for starters was smooth and buttery. The duck leg confit had immaculately crisp skin but fall off the bone meat. I am not one for citrus or fruity desserts, but the pavlova may have changed that. The chef and team here have something quite special on their hands.
