Got 2 dozens donuts for my office. Person at the counter was very friendly and patient with me even while I had a large order. Donuts themselves were incredible - the best I've had during my year in DC! Had classic flavors lile chocolate and maple but also fun ones like Boston cream and blueberry pancake. They taste better than many non-vegan donuts I've had all across the country. Will definitely come back again!

I recommend! The donuts were huge. The French toast donut is a must. I would give this place five stars if they had more drink options or at least better coffee. For a donut shop, I was expecting more from the coffee, but it is what it is.
These donuts are amazing!! And I don’t even like donuts! The dough is so fluffy and light and they’re always fresh. Go early! As they run out quick!
I come here every couple weeks to try out the new seasonal flavors, and every time they’ve been a hit! I’m always happy to give patronage to any vegan restaurants in town, and I recommend Donut Run to anyone with a sweet tooth. The Boston Cream Pie donut in particular was a crowd favorite when I ordered a dozen last time. There tends to be a bit of a line on the weekends, but these bad boys are worth the wait.
Taste great, smell good, beautiful texture. Cute shop. I beat the line by getting there at around 9am on a Friday. By the time I was leaving, there was a long line on the street.
A friend of mine put it like this…”This is the best donut I’ve eaten in my entire life!”The team here is making fantastic cakes with holes in them, and if you miss the opportunity to have one, you’ve truly done yourself a disservice. On top of all of that they’re vegan, and this omnivore loves her animal fats… Good food is just good food though, you can’t argue with it, and Donut Run is amazing!These guys thought they were to die for! (It was Halloween!)
So instead of actually going for a run.....I ran into some donuts...... that French toast is fantastic!
Worth everything it takes to get one of these donuts!! Don't be discouraged by a short wait. Check their socials on the way to make sure they've got your favorite flavor!! Mine happen to be the simple Boston Cream and Cookies and Cream, but check it out yourself!
There was no line and no one else in the store when we visited mid morning on Friday, Sept 10. Not a full selection but enough to choose from. Good donuts but I would not stand in a long line for it.
