Recommended by a friend and when we came here we realized that we have been purchased this brand for a long time .. great to get a chance to eat gelato out of fresh lol
Nice place but the parking in this area is bad. There is a farmers market every weekend between the metro and this store. A lot of people are in the area to have lunch and shop and it’s difficult to find parking. Also, the gelato is good. There are a few different ones in the city and all of the locations are consistently good. The normal flavors you would expect. Sometimes during the cherry blossom festival there is a special flavor offered. When we went, there a small line but it moved quickly. The flavors are great and the texture is smooth. Always satisfied with my choice.
Their sorbettos and ice cream are rich and fresh - you can taste b4 ordering!
I normally don't like desert after dinner but this was so wonderful! They have so many options and at good prices. I really enjoyed this hidden gem.

This might be good for gelato but I was really disappointed with their coffee and pastry selection. Super small space too it's uncomfortable to sit there. The music was loud in the morning. The staff were super nice though.Just beware that like many. places in DC, they require you to show your vaccination card before you sit inside, otherwise you could order takeout.
We ordered Latte and hot chocolate. Very nice place, welcoming barista, and much less sugar in their drinks which I absolutely loved!
I love stopping by Dolcezza. I don't get there every day but when I am in Dupont I stop by. The pastries and coffee are great. The location is ideal if you are heading into the city from Maryland. Also it has Wifi so if you need to stop in for a coffee and do a little work, you are covered.
Stumbled upon Dolcezza with a group of friends at night in D.C. I was pleased with the hours they were open, and they had excellent gelato! It it was asp located in a great part of town with shopping and businesses surrounding it.
Delicious gelato, friendly and knowledgeable staff, and interesting flavors! My husband had chocotorta and dark chocolate, and I chose chocolate Mexicano and ginger-cardamom-pistachio. Will return!
