I've stopped into District Rico plenty of times. It's not too far from my jobs and the walk is worth it. The chicken is outstanding with so much flavor in the meat. There is a side option of Spinach and potatoes. This dish is so good, I end up pouring it over my chicken I think they pair well. I always get the mixed Brussels Sprouts /carrots options and plantains as my 2 side. I just add the Spinach as an additional charge. Its so much food for a good price, definitely enough for 2 meals.
1/4 perfectly grilled chicken with fresh fries were hot and delicious. We tried all the sauces and liked them all. The place was clean, organized and nicely decorated.
I had 1/4 dark meat with Mac and cheese and spinach. Everything was delicious and hot lots of extra green spicy sauce. ?
A fast casual restaurant with excellent chicken! We shared one whole chicken that was wonderfully seasoned. The fried rice was excellent as well. A cheap and filling meal!
We ordered the Pollo Saltado and the grilled shrimp...both were excellent. The shrimp was medium spicy, which was perfect for me. The Pollo was mild so we added the supplied hot sauce. We did take out and will definitely go there again.
The staff cooks amazing food and is very courteous. We loved the pollo a la brasa and lomo saltado! Enjoyed the Inca Cola!
This is a place to try… their fried rice is so yummy. I order quarter chicken, rice, plantain with a drink… I asked for hot sauceAnd they gave me this green stuff which I was like( what’s this) but I tried it with my chicken and can’t eat without it
District Rico NEVER disappoints! We ordered our usuals, Lomo Saltado and Pollo Saltado. I was in the mood for a little spicy and asked for recommendations. They offered to add jalapeños to my pollo saltado and it's my new favorite! Thank you for the recommendation and for the exceptional service.

You won't be disappointed with any of the menu items. This is the best Peruvian style Chicken in DC. They have plenty of sides to pick from and they give you your money's worth!
