Upon being seated, my wife and I ordered the Belgium Waffle Slam with Cokes. The waffles were undercooked. We sent them back. That took more than fifteen minutes for replacements. The replacements were burnt. You could smell that they were burnt. We asked for the check minus the waffles. Our server said that we had to wait for the manager because he was the only one authorized to take care of problem. The manager was arrogant and condescending when told of our experience there. My wife and I had been to that Denny's before so we felt confident that things would be okay. But to the contrary!!
I met an old friend here and had a great time. The food came hot and fresh and Wanda gave us awesome service. The egg white steak and cheese omelet was delicious. I'm glad I didn't read the reviews first because doing so would have changed my mind. We have some good and bad days, I'm happy I came on a great day!
We waited maybe 5 minutes just so the host could clean the tables for us. Our waiter was patient, friendly, and funny. I loved the music that was playing but it may not be for everyone-- once you start eating you won't notice the music if it's not to your likingThe food is easy to swallow as well as filling
My boss had worked me till 10:30 pm without getting dinner, so I went to a Denny's near the Benning Ave. exit of the Metro. I ordered the 55+ menu wild Alaskan salmon, sautéed zucchini and whole grain rice. The service was ok, and the food was acceptable. I tipped 20% and went to my AirBnB to go to sleep.
The food was good the service was good. It was the atmosphere for me. People were loud, cursing. I mean extremely loud. Didn't expect anything better off Benning rd.
DO NOT EAT HERE!! We ordered DoorDash from here this past weekend and there were so much wrong with our order. I ordered the country fried steak that didn’t include my gravy, the eggs were watery and they didn’t put my toast in the bag. My friend got the T-bone steak (pictured) and it came RAW!!!!! The butter for his pancakes had an awful smell and his eggs were watery as well. I do not recommend eating here unless yo is joy undercooked food and missing items. Very disappointed!
My goddaughter, her two children and myself had a great time, more food than we can eat. The waitress was exceptional. We were treated as if we were her family.
I went to the Denny's and after eating, watched a roach crawl down the opposite booth.. Told the waiter to get the manager but the manager never came to the table
The food was delicious and hot! It definitely was what I thought it was. The service is why I gave 3 stars. My appetizer and food came out at the same time. It took 5 mins to get drinks and there were only 5 other guests in the whole restaurant. So, good food but poor service.
