Food and ambience is great! But the new 15% fair-wage fee is ridiculous! We are paying for food and drinks and also tipping for service. The onus of salary and fair wage should be on employers not patrons! Shady practice! Not visiting again!
Good place, great veggie burger and amazing fries. Little more expensive than I expected but it was a nice time. Have to talk a bit loudly but that’s to be expected in a bustling place on a Thursday night. Would recommend. Also, clean bathrooms.
Good atmosphere, but overall pricey bar food. The beer is German but do not expect any German food. Good place overall.
We love this spot. We have been for brunch and dinner and enjoyed it both times. We bring our pups and they get spoiled with all the love from our sweet server. It's nice and warm inside too
I don’t know why but this place has the best fries I’ve ever tasted!! Like seriously they’re perfectly crunchy on the outside soft on the inside and seasoned to perfection! I could literally just come here for the fries.
When it's 35 outside, and raining, and you don't want to drink your daily beer in your hotel room because of a COVID surge, this is were you want to be. Covered and heated patio that is leaky enough to provide great airflow. They kept offering me a table away from the breeze, but this is exactly where I wanted to be. So hard to find this anywhere in DC in winter. Great service and beer list too!
It’s all outside, so keep that in mind. Service was good. Food was very good. We had the curry wurst and the pork sliders. Food was plentiful and tasted great. Beer selection was excellent. The reason for a 4 and not a 5 is we would prefer inside dining.
