I adore Indian food, so it's great that there is such a superb Indian restaurant in the Georgetown neighborhood. Curry and Pie is small, but that doesn't infringe on its service or deliciousness. Everything on their menu is scrumptious, whether it is a curry or fusion dish. Their curries tend to be on the sweeter side of things, but you can request varying degrees of spice to diversify the taste. Pictured below are the Malai Kofta and French Fry Chaat dishes they serve, which I would recommend. Hope you enjoy eating here as much as I have.
Delicious authentic Indian food in Georgetown! Tiny space but food is good. Highly recommend the palak paneer, so delicious!
We had tandoori tamales, which were a bit dry, but the chicken momos were better. The onion kulcha and butter chicken were a nice way to finish the meal. The service was excellent. The atmosphere a solid B.
The best South Asian food I've had in DC! If your thinking about coming here please do! If you weren't thinking about coming here, please start thinking and come here. Their naan, was buttery and beautiful. Their curry was chef's kiss. I reccomend their chicken tikka masala, it's really good!
Very delicious Indian Pizza, very unique combination. But loved it! Only one staff member there at the time but he was very nice.
We were on campus at Georgetown University and looking for a place to have lunch and saw this restaurant on Yelp. We were not disappointed! The restaurant is pretty small but it really delivers. Most of the tables are up on the second floor but there are a couple of tables on the first floor when you walk in. The service was prompt and the food was amazing! We did a plate of the Chicken Momos (think an Indian version of potstickers), the Paneer Makhani (the sauce was TO DIE FOR!), and a piece of naan. The naan was the only thing we felt luke warm about - not that it was bad just that everything else was so good!Although we didn’t try it, we saw a few tables order the French Fry Chaat and it looked great!I hope you decide to try this place - you won’t be disappointed!
Delicious and affordable. We ordered the tikka masala pizza, French fry chat and saag lamb. As a lover of Indian food this fusion restaurant excellently blended dishes to create flavorful and unique dishes. The French fry chat had delicious sauces and chutney. ( highly recommend)The staff was very friendly and the environment was very cozy and college student friendly. Only think I would improve are the tables, the old wooden tables were sticky.
The food never disappoints! We particularly love the chicken tikka pizza. However, if you're ordering for carry out give them a few extra minutes, they always underestimate how long the order is going to take.
Best Indian I’ve found in DC so far. There were a bunch of vegetarian options, but I went with the Malai Kofta which was amazing! The garlic naan was delicious, but not the type of bread I usually associate with “naan”.I ordered delivery through a third party app and it arrived early, warm, and well packaged.
Innovative, comforting, delicious!Amazing Indian fusion in Georgetown. We got:• the French Fry Chaat (pictured)• Chicken Tikka Masala with Basmati Rice• Garlic Naan• Lamb Vindaloo Curry Pizza Pie• Milk teaI can’t even decide which one was my favorite. Very reasonable prices and great service. We got to sit at a window table upstairs that looked out onto the street which was so pleasant! We’ll definitely be back and hope you go support them too!
