Love their sweet crepes. The service is quick. Excellent customer service. They have late hours too!
We got into the city after dinner time but we’re hungry. It was a close walk from our hotel and it was delicious! Everything was fresh and you got to watch your food being made. Only downfall was the bacon was chewy so it hadn’t been cooked long enough.
I've searched a lot for a place that makes the crepes fresh only after you order it, and this place didn't disappoint! The batter is freshly spread on the pan in front of you after you order. It is pretty quick and you can see that all the ingredients are fresh. I tried a savory and a dessert combo, and asked them to prepare the dessert one only after I am done eating the savory one, and they were happy to oblige. Only down side I imagine is that parking if you go during weekday, but I went on a Sunday so there were plenty of free off-street parking. Highly recommend this place!
First time here and I’m impressed. Warm and quick service, food are great. If you want to try both, savory and sweet, better to get combo. It is a good deal! Def will visit again next time

The dessert crepes are wonderfully decadent! I had one with Nutella, marshmallows and strawberries and it was a wonderful delicious mess--definitely had enough strawberries :)I also got a savory crepe (tomato, basil and cheese) and was really pleasantly surprised.I shared the savory, but kept the dessert one all to myself and was very full by the end all for about $15 per person.
Always great crepes. I love that they're open late. Every time we go into DC for an event/concert/play, Crepeaway is number 1 on our list of after-show snack places.
They are usually pretty great but our last visit I ordered 3 crepes and only received 2. We were waiting for the 3rd for over 5 mins until we had to let them know we are still missing one. The male cashier said he needs to charge me because I wanted an extra one. I had to explain to him I never got my 3rd one in the first place so why should I pay for an “extra” one. This went on back and forth and got really irritating. When he tried to explain and showed me in his notebook there was no 3rd crepe written down but in my receipt I got charged 3.Very frustrating experience.
I was not prepared for the size and quality of these crepes. Sometimes the fast casual food downtown seems to lack in quality since a lot of people order to go or delivery. These folks actually make huge crepes stuffed with delicious fillings. The savory crepes are actually amazing. I had the one with mushrooms and ham (I can’t remember the name) and it was so thick, hot and juicy. I’ve never seen such a full crepe. Really impressed. Staff wasn’t exactly friendly or motivated but they got the job done really well so who cares. Would definitely go back.
The crepes here are amazing and the service is some of the best in the city. The service staff are super nice and their menu options are incredible.
