My crew ordered takeout from Crazy Aunt Helen’s on a May Friday night and it was a good experience. I called to place my order and it was ready within 20-25 minutes. I paid when I got there and walked out with a warm meal.My five-year-old daughter enjoyed the chicken fingers and mac and cheese, which could feed two kids. The fried chicken sandwich was very tasty, but the fries it came with were just okay. They needed more flavor like salt.My friends loved the fish sammie, catfish and burger!

I don’t normally leave reviews for anything, but I had to for Crazy Aunt Helen’s. This was our first time coming here and we’re glad we did, the atmosphere was beautiful, and all of the food and drinks were amazing. The staff as well as the owner, Shane were great to meet, they really made you feel comfortable and welcomed. Definitely try the strawberry shortcake and their lavender lemon drop and pink squirrel cocktails, those were fantastic. We’ll definitely come back soon, we had a great time :)

Went here for brunch with friends and was very impressed! The interior envelopes you with what feels like new orleans french quarter and the atmosphere is so inviting and welcoming you feel like you are at a family members home. The owner was very active in greeting and making sure everyone was well taken care of and satisfied and the staff was top notch making excellent drinks and serving ipsome of the best food I've had on the East coast thus far! The catfish was perfectly seasoned and needed no additions not even hot sauce! And the grits were creamy and had the right consistency that is rare for many restaurants to nail, and the drag show was very entertaining but not intrusive to the dining experience!Overall this is definitely my new brunch spot and i will continue to bring friends and visiting family here every time! Don't miss out on the gem! 10 stars easily!

Delicious brunch on a surprisingly quiet Sunday morning. Cool space, great service, and excellent comfort food. The burger and BLT were excellent, including key southern staples - the pimento cheese was the right consistency with a bit of spice, the grits were just the right creamy, the fried green tomato (on the sandwich) shone through the breading, and the biscuit with the strawberry jam was a show stopper. Even the potato hash had added flavor with the green onions. Our server George was awesome - friendly, timely, and humorous and the owner, Shane, had some great stories about his aunt that made the connection to this place and the food even better. Any seat in the house is perfect to enjoy the food and drinks. Just make a reservation …

Amazing service, great food, celebration of the arts!

Hidden gem! Food is delish and Staff is super nice. Thank you Shane for sharing some of the history behind your place, I enjoyed my evening greatly!

Pristine! Great restaurant and bar. Super cute! Great service! Highly recommend!!!!

This looks like a simple breakfast, but nothing compares to how it actually tasted. Loaded grits + 2 Egg & Bacon (w grapefruit juice)… divine! I would give up a lot just to have those potatoes again—delicious. We had such a great brunch that we came back the next day for round 2. The servers are sweet and the entire establishment just feels like home. The owner is a gem. We’ll definitely be back!

Aunt Helen's, you're quite the gem! We enjoyed the food here, albeit a small menu. The cocktails are all based off classic candies and they are a bit sweet but still tasty. The staff are super friendly and cracked some good jokes. We look forward to coming back for a drag show and dinner soon!

Friendly amazing service and great food. The staff was so nice to our new rescue dog Pearl, it was her first outdoor restaurant experience and we all had a lovely time. We all took a long nap after all the delicious comfort food. We will definitely be back!
