First time here with a friend and wasn’t what we expected. First thing first it’s 5 FLIGHT OF STAIRS, could be more lol! That part for my older crowd. We placed order drinks for the bucket but no bucket ?, waiter says you will just get two drinks it equals out to what the bucket is, OK.( Took forever to come)!!! Next my friend orders the crab fries, she wasn’t please very salty. They had a DJ, that part was nice. We order a hookah which is $50 (Pricey) but ok, Hookah is by separate vendor they say. I ordered the jerk pasta was a little spicy for me but tasted OK but still on the salty side. Waitress was nice but she seemed overwhelmed because she had to keep apologizing for the slow service. Overall prices are high for ok quality food also tip is already added so future people know.
We had the Charbroiled Oysters - delicious! Then a jumbo shrimp Mukbang bowl & a "buss down blues" Mukbang bowl. So fresh, flavorful & amazing!!! Thank you to Aziza for a wonderful experience. We WILL be back!
I really wanted to like the place, but due to the service and cost, I would never dine here again.We had a reservation and arrived here about 5 mins early. The place was not busy, but it took a long time for them to clean a table and it took several minutes to seat us after we arrived. We sat for 20 minutes before someone even came to us to order our drinks. Throughout our stay it took a long time for our food to come out. The food itself was pretty good, but I feel like the presentation could have been better.The thing that shocked me the most was the price. There was a sign that advertised a frozen watermelon margarita so my friend and I got that. They then told us that they didn’t have watermelon and asked if strawberry was okay. The receipt showed that I was charged $15 for the margarita, an additional $1.5 for watermelon flavoring and $5 for tequila. We didn’t even order top shelf tequila. Also the add ins for the crab mukbang were ridiculously overpriced. I could have dined at a better quality restaurant for the same price as what I spent here.If you still decide to go here, I would recommend getting something from the regular menu such as the pasta or tacos and definitely skip the drinks.
False advertising: I went there based on the menu. Was excited about tasting the fried rice, but unfortunately, they didn't have it. It gets a 3 star rating because everything I did order was good minus the hush puppies I never got. The people who bought the food to our table didn't wear masks. We had to constantly ask for water. I can go on, but I won't.
I got Shrimp and Mussels with Cajun corn and Mac and Cheese. I stopped in to order and received my food pretty quickly. Although they did forget my Mac and cheese but were more than happy to fix the mistake when I went back in. Super pleasant staff.Music is a bit louder than most places; you kind of have to project when talking to whoever you’re with; but luckily we weren’t staying longer than it took to order and wait for our food. I’ll definitely be back.
? Long Post alert ?‼️ Best Food ever‼️? HENNYRITA SUB HENNY WITH DUSSEI visited Crab boss MLK weekend and it was an awesome experience. This was my 2nd time visiting and by far the best out of the two. I’m from Houston and I came in November, service was horrible but the food was great. Fast forward to January and baby everything was great from the vaccination card requirement to Debron as our server. Debron was an excellent server which I notice DC lacks. I’m from Texas so I’m big on customer service and hospitality and she did just that and I appreciate her for making us feel welcomed. The food was great I had the Boss fries like I did last time along with catfish sandwich which was perfect. I also got the watermelon Hennessy but with D’Usse and it was so good I was definitely feeling it ??.I’m supposed to come back to DC in the Spring and I look forward to visiting this restaurant again.

The mukbang bowl was delicious. It was so much food and seasoned well. Our waitress, Dabran was great and checked on us often. Will definitely recommend to my friends as a place to visit in DC.

Drinks were flowing and she anticipated every need.The owner, Lenell is super nice & treated us like family.Good music. Excellent food. Issa Vibe‼️Our only complaint, we couldn’t finish ?The portions are worth every penny.We’ll definitely be back. Probably tomorrow ?
