Love the spring rolls, all entree is big portion for 1-2 people but a bit too plain, the taste was OK. If you're looking for tasty food this's not a place for it.

Chinatown is always in the US major cities. DC has it.It was relatively small. Even it is smaller than Houston's one. DC is the capital city of the USA. Judging from the importance of politics, China and Taiwan governments spend more money on DC Chinatown. I used the Metro subway and enjoyed good access to the town. I ate ramen noodles at Daikaya, a Japanese restaurant. Just like this, I couldn't see a lot of Chinese restaurants and businesses. There is a concert and sports arena near Chinatown. Hope to visit an NBA game in the near future.

This is my favorite restaurant in DC. Yes: the customer service is awful sometimes (although at least one girl who works there is extremely kind). Yes: some of the workers don't really speak English, which makes communication quite hard. And yes: the place is a poorly maintained hole-in-the-wall establishment, and sometimes it's dirty, and homeless people wander in from the street to try and get cigarettes from me or catcall my girlfriend. HOWEVER: for less than $10 you can get the best god damn Chinese food I've ever had in the city - scratch that, the best in my life.I've been treated far worse by people who speak perfect English for far worse food, so I'm giving this 5 stars with the small asterisk to be polite and patient when trying to explain your order over the phone. I don't care if I have to get in ten fights with vagrants, I would fight my own mother for their succulent Seafood Delight. Anyone who complains about the customer service or the decor clearly doesn't understand that immigrants who put their whole life into this establishment might be a little overwhelmed because they're focused on making such ABSOLUTELY SLAPPIN food.

Came in based soley on the Google reviews, which are BS and if I could give 0 stars I would! I placed 2 orders for 4 wings and fries, along with an order of springs rolls. For $25 (including tip) I'm totally unimpressed and jive disgusted. While I did receive the full order- I was given egg rolls instead of spring rolls, which I consider strike #1. Strike #2 were the vegetables inside of the egg roll because they were mushy and the whole thing dripped with grease. Strike #3 the chicken wings had a weird taste (per two separate people)...not old grease, not unclean...just weird like a 7/11 type of wing so I only ate half of one. The fries were the best part of the meal and they were drenched in some kind of watered down mumbo sauce. As a DC native, I always look forward to coming home and grabbing some carryout on my way back across the bridge. This experience has left me hungry, disappointed, and very leery of Google reviews.

Dependable, fresh, and delicious American-style Chinese food!

HIDDEN GEM! I’ve been looking for a good Chinese place for over a year and have been feeling underwhelmed in DC. This place makes such comforting yummy foods and it will become my go-to spot for sure.I got the lo mein chicken, sesame chicken, and sweet and sour pork. The latter two came with rice. They are all flavorful and the sweet and sour pork was very crispy. I recommend all of them. Also, the woman at the register is so friendly!Highly suggest it!
