An excellent night with family. Carmine's is a great spot for family style for your group. Reservations are recommended and we were seated promptly upon arrival skipping the line.

Fantastic food, large servings, and we did it family style which was a good suggestion from the waiter. Tasted great! Good atmosphere and I really liked the professional and polite wait staff.
The food was just ok. Server was good. The dessert and coffee weâre awful. It was my boyfriends birthday and we let them know when i reserved, when we came in and told the server. No one came with a happy birthday anything or even asked me. But the table next to us got one. Very disappointing wasnât a good birthday dinner.

This is the place to go for a great meal, great service, pleasant environment, and wonderful location in downtown Washington, DC.
The restaurant was packed. Food was generous portions and pretty good. Good for filling up a family. But it was also pretty loud.

Great tasting food, but generally takes a long time to receive entres...(this is true at other Carmine's locations, too). The family-style servings are enormous so be prepared to share dishes! We like that they have gluten-free offerings!
So much food. â¤ï¸ Loved every bite but my family of 8 on vacation way over ordered. We had so much food. It was so delicious. Wish we wouldnât have wasted so much. Waiter did tell us everything serves 3-4 everything but everything sounded so good so we ordered way to much. Definitely worth the price.
