At first the restaurant was great besides the owner z and his staff . His worker Lorenzo bully me and I have it on video where you can hear the guy says that zeke the owner doesn't like me. .and I have a person #1 . I spend money here. I was connected with a person that has alot of power in Washingtond.c. basically it is discrimination. I was told. And I'm just going to sit back and watch. This place needs to be protested.it is considered asbullying i was told he allows his staff to disrespect customers. I'm done screw this entire business.God says that revenge is his. That's who will stop.this .I wouldn't recommend their services to anyone.

The owners are the heart of this delicious restaurant, and the attentive staff keep their heart beating. We always have great meal at Cafe Fili, just like we had when the owners had Cafe Ole in NW DC. We have tasted and enjoyed just about every selection on the menu, my personal favorites are the lamb sliders along with the grilled shrimp, humus and salad served in a yummy hand made bread basket. They have a great selection of wines and cocktails too. We are looking forward to their outdoor patio re-opening this spring! Enjoy, there is no doubt you will!!
We miss Cafe Ole and were looking forward to visiting Cafe Fili, good news we have now been twice. There are some great menu items from the Cafe Ole menu such as lamb burgers and chermoula shrimp and lots of new delicious items. The number one thing that makes this menu great is flavor, Each menu item has its own flavor through a combination of ingredients and spices/herbs and it stays with you after each bite. It is a casual ambiance which partners well with the style of food. We look forward to future delicious visits!
Tried lamb and felafel gyro. The felafel was crispy and tasty. The lamb tasted decent. But both gyros were very dry.Felt the menu priced on the higher side compared to similar restaurants.
Splendid. Sooo good!! I was in the mood for some authentic Mediterranean and boy, did it deliver!!! Always does though! Their food is layered with the perfect amounts of seasoning, blends to achieve that robust flavor in every bite! Cool, chill spot with outdoor seating. Pleasant staff and down to earth owners who always check-in to ask "how did you enjoy your meal" to ensure you had a great dining experience! No picture, I devoured my Fili Cheesesteak Hoagie :: ))
Great see the former Cafe Ole is back with all the favorites amd more - hummus, lamb, salads, salmon croquettes were all great, but the take-out baklava was old.
Got the mezze platter and salmon croquettes for a table of 3 and everyone absolutely loved everything. The salmon croquettes are a highlight but you really can't go wrong here.Staff was super nice and made sure we had everything we needed. The pastries, especially the baklava are great as well.

Had lunch there with a group of six people prior to dropping two of them off at Union Station. The food and coffee were good but not exceptional. A good place to stop on the way to Union Station, but I wouldn't go out of my way to go back. Too many other better choices in DC.
