Prices were very reasonable but the bagels were a lot smaller than other DMV bagel options. The bagels were small and definitely pretty greasy. The portions were not enough for a bagel sandwich but it tasted good overall. Rank this establishment probably in the middle range of bagel options in the DC area.The place is pretty small too and it was very hard to order. The upstairs part has good seating though.
Omg!! This place was sooooo good!! This was my first time going here. The food was tasty and well priced. At first I couldn't understand why so many people were willing to waiting to get into this tiny spaceto eat. Point taken....do not sleep this place. I think my sandwich was a Pastrami w/everything. A hidden gem and can't wait till I go back.
Ordered a salt bagel with chive cream cheese via third party delivery. It was on time, delicious, and well packaged. They even included napkins!
RUDE HORRIBLE SERVICE!!!! NEVER AGAIN!! I called to confirm my order because I ordered for a large office group and wanted to make sure the special instructions were adhered to. Maricela who answered told me that they’re too busy to confirm my special instructions and that “If I put it in the special instructions they will do it” I insisted that this is for a large group and I need them to please confirm what I sent. she said no, they are too busy to do that for me. Then, she put me on hold and came back and told me your order is already done. I said if you can’t confirm the simple thing I am asking I will put a review based on this and she said “EXCELLENT HAVE A GREAT DAY BYE” That’s what you get here, DO NOT ORDER FOR ANY EXECS!!
The woman who answers phone calls is terrible at her job. She said her name is Maricela, if she’s even telling the truth. I called to confirm my order because i was ordering for a large group. She said that they don’t have time for that because they are very busy. I said well I paid for this and I need to make sure it’s correct. She replied “IF YOU PUT SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS ON THE ORDER THEN THEY WILL READ IT” I said that’s not good enough, I’m sorry this isn’t just a small order. She said well it’s already done your order mam.. HOW??? she didn’t even get my information??? Then I said if you can’t even help me with a simple request I will post a review about this place and she said EXCELENTE HAVE A GOOD DAY BYE. Now the office received the order WITH MISSING BAGELS!!!!! DONT ORDER FROM HERE ESPECIALLY FOR AN OFFICE GROUP!!!
The bagels here are always amazing and they have an awesome selection on hand. The service is great and their prices are even better.
I opened my bag to find a soggy bagel, already cut, that someone had visibly tried to SCRAPE the cream cheese off of - I assume someone failed to read my request for cream cheese on the side, realized the mistake, and then couldn't be bothered to just get another bagel. How do you guys think that's okay?!? I get that it's busy on the weekends and I get that you might be running short of bagels - but just tell me, don't hand me a soggy mess and hope that I don't find out until I get home. Seriously, who would pay money for this?
Usually go to the food truck in Tenleytown. The best lox on a toasted poppy seed bagel with cream cheese and the fixings that I've ever had in DC.
I was fortunate to stumble on this spot accidentally! I was trying to go to another bagel shop nearby but they weren't opened at the time so Google pointed me to Bullfrog and I'm so glad they did!! I had a bacon, egg and cheese bagel which was so delicious!! I also picked up a dozen bagels and cream cheese for my office and they were a huge hit!! All the bagels were fresh and tasted incredible!! Many of my coworkers commented on the wonderful flavor and quality of the bagels! My in store experience was smooth and easy, will DEFINITELY be back!!!
My favorite bagel place in DC. The salmon BLT hits the spot every time. Great variety of bagels also, I love the Asiago. Plus it’s such a cute shop and you can walk around the Eastern Market afterwards. Great way to start your weekend morning!
