I love Buffalo and Bergen. I by accident ordered my food to the wrong location, but they were kind enough to remake my order and not charge me extra. Of course I won’t make a habit of this, but I really appreciated their flexibility. Not to mention the food is simple but filling and delicious!

Top notch food, drink and service. We enjoyed everything and will be back again...but we hope that on our return a simple functionality could be changed on behalf of the 14+ individuals that went to the entrance and struggled with entry. The door says PUSH, but the large vertical handle subconsciously tells the coffee-lacking brain to PULL. While we enjoyed the free morning entertainment, please replace the handle with a simple, and aesthetically pleasing push plate to alleviate this issue. ?

Bagel is really disappointing. Basically sweet white bread dough that maybe had hardly been boiled and barely baked. The “everything” had a few bits of damp sesame seeds and a couple garlic flakes—it was flavorless and sad.Staff were kind and coffee was serviceable but I won’t be back anytime soon.

Love their bagel breakfast sandwiches! The staff is always friendly and they make a good vanilla latte as well.Get the Albuquerque - it always hits the spot.

You should definitely check this place out when wandering around Capitol Hill. They have some awesome bagel sandwiches — we went with the lox and pastrami lox and took an Old Bay bagel for the road.

Absolutely delicious bagel-wiches! The matzo ball soup was interesting but not sure I'd order it again

Clean, small but airy, bright and cheery even on a gray rainy day.Delicious food, fresh-squeezed orange juice. The owner worked the day I came in and made my bagel for me, which was delicious. It’s the bagel that’s on the poster on the wall (it comes on top of a spicy Bloody Mary; I highly recommend it.

I want to know what these reviewers are on.As someone who frequents bagel places all round the DMV and has been a bagel maker for years, this place has some of the worst I’ve ever had. The bagels are effectively loaves of white bread with a crispy exterior. No flavor or gluten to be had (we had an everything, plain, and garlic). The coffee (mocha and a latte) tasted so strange, like it hadn’t been mixed well. They got my sandwich order wrong but made up for it for free, so I give them another star.If you’re from out of town and want a stellar bagel experience, I implore you to go elsewhere. The deli across Mass probably makes a better sandwich. If you’re not, then go to Call Your Mother, Bagels Etc, or Heat Da Spot, literally please anywhere else.

Very good bagels. Dog friendly. Great orange juice. Knish was not my thing but I'll be back for the bagels

I just wanted a bagel this morning and got SOOO much more than what I was hoping for. Amazing food and staff was friendly AF. What a way to start my morning. 10/10 recommend.
