Decided to get a beer and a bite for lunch when walking by. Nice find! Very pleased with both the beer, the sandwich and the service.
They were out of salad at lunch on a Thursday...at noon. The Italian beef sandwich was not what I was hoping for. It was almost ground beef, which was odd. Flavor was okay, but certainly not worth the price. Staff was friendly but I wouldn't choose this as my first choice for lunch.
Our group of six ate outside on a busy Saturday night. We sat on the picnic tables provided. It was too crowded and noisy inside. My salmon was over cooked. Burgers etc were good. Leila, our server was fabulous! Thank you Leila!
Just missed happy hour which ended at 6 so I decided to stay and check out the dinner menu. The best part of the meal was the calamari. It was perfection. The entrees weren't as impressive. Hence, the loss of a star.
Good atmosphere and bartenders.. pub fare... good beer selection. Look forward to going back
Came at 10:30pm and was turned away when the place closes 11:00. Only came in for a drink with a friend and explained that but what told the place was shutting down. In that case, close the venue at 10:30
Limited cider selection but good experience, ultimately. It was crowded with students and seemed to be the place people go :-)
Good beer selection of local breweries plus some mainstream beer. Had some apps at the bar which were very good. Give it a try
First time experiencing the Brookland pint and i was extremely disappointed. The chili cheese fries had hardly any cheese. The salmon sandwich was just gross. The description said coleslaw and sweet and spicy sauce but there was no coleslaw just huge carrots! And the saucy wasn’t spicy just sweet so i tried to just eat the salmon off the sandwich but it had absolutely no seasoning on it. A waste of 50 dollars.
Went there with my cousin. Nice patio seating options. Well spaced indoor seating options. Touchless menu. Food was good with lots of options for vegetarians. They didn’t bring more water, but they offered good service with refill on drinks.
